BluePearl pet hospital has the most kindest considerate staff. I had a tough decision to make regarding my border collie lucky, he has been sick for a few years and he's body just gave up today. I called and spoke with Katheryn and she advised me to bring him in and the could assist, tears in my eyes I proceeded to bluepearl. They were so attentive and respectful there, when Dr Cromwell walked in the door with a very calm deminor and soothing voice I felt lucky would be fine and the tension and apprehension I had were calmed, as I watched my baby fall asleep I was relieved to know he wasn't suffering anymore thank you bluepearl staff.

THEY WILL KILL YOUR PET! Do NOT take your pet here. Took my pet and was charged $2600 DOLLARS and with all the supposedly tests they did, they said they did not know what was wrong with my pet. They obviously lied about several things and said he was just “severely sick”. They charged me for services he did NOT HAVE DONE. AND they offered to EUTHANIZE him as the best option. I took my pet to a different veterinary on Glendale and 43rd Ave. And they checked him ONLY CHARGED $60 and said he was very weak due to malnutrition because he was not drinking enough milk from his mother. They prescribed him supplements and iron. My pet is doing WAY BETTER just one day after. THIS PLACE Will STEAL your money and LIE TO YOU AND WILL KILL YOUR PET. The front desk low paid staff have zero manners specially the fat guy Andrew. They were laughing and talking about their personal life while the clients were grieving and worried waiting for their service.

No one ever wants to be here, but if you have to, the staff is awesome. Andre at the front desk is very caring, professional, and upfront with answers to questions. Definitely need more guys like this to help out in stressful situations.

I’m giving them a 1 star because they left my dog sitting in his own feces all night without even bothering to clean him up. It’s just pure laziness and disrespect to my dog.

Was sent here after hours by the AZ Humane Society for a sick stray kitten was told to drop it off and AZ Humane Society would pick it up tomorrow. They spent 2 minutes examining the kitten, said vitals were fine and refused to take it. Took it home and it died that night.

Liars and thieves with absolutely no care for the life of animals. All they care about is money. Had the Dr tell me they were “unsure” of X-ray results after spending $500 on them and then sent my animal home with no answers after spending $1,000 in 2 days.

This is my go to emergency vet. They are always very up front with me and they check your dogs/ pets vitals almost as soon as you get there. Yes, you will have to wait for while! That is expected since this is an EMERGENCY VET. The staff is always professional and kind. They are very good at giving detailed explanations as to what is wrong with your pet. Also they usually give you some options on services which typically gives you some options on the cost.

1 star because we were greeted promptly by someone as we entered the door however the care we received after that was no stars given at all. Our cat had a foreign body stuck inside her intestines that we wanted removed right away she was going on 24+ hours of not eating or drinking. The nurse took her back right away as we watched several other clients come in the door with more serious conditions than our pet. We didn't receive an update until 4 1/2 hours later to just be told that there is nothing else they can do than to hospitalize her and do surgery for a very large amount of money. They told us to go to our local clinic and it would be cheaper, which we did in the long run and received outstanding care. I would not recommend this business because they were very unprofessional and we had to tell the nurse 1 hour before getting discharged our cat needed fluids and we wanted to take her home for monitoring. We were not informed of the breakdown of all the costs and spent $400+ on things that didn't even cure our pet. Please look elsewhere.

Arrived this morning (October 7th, 2021) around 1 am. My cat seemed to have odd breathing patterns and was acting odd. His behavior suddenly changed and he wasn’t interested in playing and he was tired all the time. He’s 5 months old and my first cat so I was concerned. I just had a feeling something was up. They took him back quickly for vitals. They were understanding of my concern and fear. They came back and let us know that his breathing was okay but his temperature was elevated at 105 instead of 101 or 103 at max. They wanted to keep him for observation and see how he was doing until the vet could take a look at him. They were busy and had a lot of critical patients. So even though he wasn’t the top of the priority list, they’ve taken good care of him. Brian and Victoria in particular are amazing and kind and didn’t once make me feel like I was silly or paranoid for my concern. Currently waiting on the call from the vet about what’s going on. Thank you!! Photo of my cat Binx from a few days ago for fun. Hopefully he gives you a smile! UPDATE: thank you to the bluepearl team for doing everything they could for him. he had to be put to sleep. and i miss him terribly. thank you. for trying all you could to save him.

I don't like the prices here but when there's an emergency this place is great. One of my oldest dogs was diagnosed with a heart murmur almost 2 years ago. Today she woke up with labored breathing and her heart was beating so hard we literally thought she would die today. I brought her in to see if there was anything they could do. They said she had fluid on her lungs which was causing the labored breathing, and gave her a shot of diuretics to get rid of excess fluid. She now has to take the diuretic everyday but I'm so glad I'm at least leaving with her and not without her!!

Sad to say that we had to put our beloved dog Tiva mommas to sleep last night at this place. I really miss her so much (crying as I'm typing this). Losing a beloved pet is the worst feeling in the world. Run free, Tiva!

Worst vet hospital. Took our dog in waited 24hrs then said they couldn’t get to him after he tore his hide and needed stitches. Then charged $500. taking him to another vet now that said they can get him in and actually stitch him for less than we paid for nothing.

Terrible customer service. Will never go back. Took in my puppy at 5:00 pm. They told me it would take a couple hours to check him out. I waited 2 hours and then asked for an update and said it would probably be another 6 hours. I went ahead and went home and waited for a call. Never got one even 8 hours later, so I called again and said they still haven’t looked at him. They didnt feed him the whole time either. They kept lying to me about times. They said they would call me back. They never did… after he was in there for a total of 15 hours I just took him out and decided to no longer wait for them to continue lying and trying to get more money. $300 for no answer and terrible service. Rude and treat puppies like they are an object.

I would give zero stars. We literally waited in a room for a hour before they came to tell us they were waiting for a payment from my daughter before they could start treatment. When we walked in we were literally the only people here. After 2 hours the lobby is packed and they told me they had trauma patients... of course you do. I would never be back here.. $300 later to tell me there is nothing wrong with my dogs eye.

I took my dog in to be checked after being attacked by a larger dog. Front desk receptionist was not too friendly. Nurse was caring. Dr on staff was not very helpful. My dog was in there care from 6pm to 11 pm and his wound was not treated at all. They wanted more money after the first 1000 dlls.to keep him for observation. Will never go back, would not recommend at all

Omg so helpful! Thank you so much My dog got in a fight and he got a proptosis eye and I was panicking and when i took my fur baby they attended quickly. Im in the medical field and i know it can get busy and you gets stats but im so glad i came here i was there for almost all day but I completely understand. Thank you Dr. Dino and his assistant she was on it. The girls up front I think you ladies need to learn to use inside voices, people dont want to hear what you will do on a weekend when were there for an emergency. Thank you again!

Horrible experience at this hospital. We brought my cat in with a very suspicious lump, and itching all over. The vet said there is nothing they can do, and gave us an unnecessary cancer scare.

This is the second time that I had to utilize this facility for emergencies. They admitted my dog and I was awaiting medical for hour's. Once evaluated, the price was outrageous compared with other emergency facilities. The follow up by the doctor was the only impressive experience.

I had a pleasant but unfortunate experience at Blue Pearl. The staff was excellent and the doctor that cared for our cat was very kind. The unfortunate part of the experience was that we had to put down our cat due to a severe illness. The staff was very patient and understanding during our time of grief and when it came time for our loved ones suffering to end, the doctor was very gentle and took time to comfort and talk to our cat. If your value compassionate and caring people, Blue Pearl has that covered.

I am writing this review about the Blue Pearl facility on West Peoria Avenue. I work with an animal rescue and when we have an emergency/after hours situation we turn to Blue Pearl. And we have never been disappointed. Yesterday we brought in a puppy that we found out has Parvo, they treated her and kept her overnight continuing treatment until we could get her to a hospital for longer-term care. The staff is always great and Angel made she the pup was ready to go for her transportation. We have worked with Dr. Landry several times, she has been compassionate and kind when we have had to put a pup to sleep, and has helped us make the best decisions while we cry over our losses. Dr. Nelson is caring and compassionate and understands that an animal rescue has to balance cost against each situations because our job is never over.

The woman who works at the front desk at 8 am..was extremely rude to me after I parked in their parking lot and did not realize there was work being done outside she said I could not park there I asked her what I was to do I was extremely upset as I was picking up the ashes of my deceased cat she said I will go get your ashes for you like a robot showing absolutely no compassion no empathy whatsoever she seemed more upset about me parking in their parking lot then me picking up my deceased cat's ashes ,she was rude to me I explained that I wanted to speak to the manager of the practice of course they are not in and she told me they would not be in until later in the afternoon regardless I will never go back to Blue Pearl ever again I don't know where these people are trained but how they can be so uncompassionate and show no empathy towards the customer who is there to pick up their deceased cats remains shame on them .these people really need to retrain their employees or fire them

This was Our first experience with Blue Pearl. We brought our dog in at 6pm yesterday for a bee sting! By 9pm the Dr had not looked at him and it was at least another 5 hour wait for the Dr to see him!!. There were emergency’s coming in. The positive thing is they took him back right away, his vitals were good. By 9pm we made the decision to take him home. They refunded the cost since the Dr never looked at him. The staff was great, but overwhelmed! My reason for 3 stars is they are understaffed. Only one Doctor!!

If I could give them no star I would! My dog had diarrhea with a lot of blood and they didn’t accept him in the clinic because they didn’t think blood was critical! Don’t take your pet here! Worst place in Phx! Rude staff!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my dog in and after being "triaged", was told based on my dog's vital signs, he was stable and did not need to be seen since they were "at capacity". I don't take my dogs to the animal hospital if there is not obviously something wrong with them and did not agree with their assessment. I immediately took my dog to another nearby facility and within 5 minutes of being their, the doctor was calling me asking me to authorize emergent interventions to stabilize my dog because he was "in critical condition". I will never step foot in this facility again.

They saved my dogs life and for a reasonable price. I thought the staff was friendly, efficient, and understanding. I don’t like their mask policy at this stage of game. However, I wouldn’t think twice about where I’m going in an emergency from this point forward. Thank you!
