This is a wonderful and simply beautiful place for the animals to be safe and taken care of until they find their forever family. I highly recommend you put them on your list of worthy recipients for a donation. Also, if you live in the …

Once in a while I visit the shelter to spend some time with the cats. I like the large open room with places to sit, cat trees, and animal toys. The shelter has both dogs and cats, but they’re on different sides of the property.

We had such a great experience here! This shelter is very clean and the grounds are so beautiful! The animals and the staff are all happy and so nice! The fur babies are well-cared-for, and their individual needs are all met. We adopted a 2 year old DSH cat and we're so in love! We highly recommend this shelter, and we're looking forward to working with them again someday.

There is a guy there who works Saturday, very unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment to see cats and now they are stating we never scheduled one even tho he was the same one who “booked” our appointment. Keep in mind as well we had previously booked an appointment and was given the wrong time so we had to “reschedule” He proceeded to tell us they are available on certain times only with a huge attitude even tho the personnel are the ones who give the times available. I’m sorry but someone with this personality should not work at an animal shelter. I feel bad for the animals, then they question why people don’t adopt, it’s because of people like him who make it a miserable experience. We tried calling and of course where put on hold followed up with a hang up. We called back several times and were ignored.

We adopted a 10 month old kitty from here a year ago and he has been the best addition to our family. He is the healthiest, happiest, most patient boy, you can really tell how loved the animals are here. I know some are out off by the rigorous adoption process, but I really like that they vet people out to place the animals with the best family possible. I also love that the cats get to run around a big room with an outdoor enclosure, making sure their life is great until they find their forever home. If you want a pet, this is a great shelter to get one from!

I found this organization to donate some items. Spoke to a gentleman there for a period of time and I am deeply grateful for these people. They take care of animals that people don't want anymore. I plan on coming back to donate more. I would love to see more stopping by to donate or volunteer their time.

I am really impressed with the staff and care at this shelter. They’re thorough and treat their animals with a lot of love. The animals there seem very happy and content. I 100% recommend getting a pet from here!

When we arrived at the facility we were met by a man at the front desk who basically asked us what we wanted. His demeanor was not very pleasant and considering everyone currently has to make an appointment to even get in I’m not quite sure why he responded that way. We wouldn’t have been allowed in if we didn’t have an appointment. Than we went to the cat area and it was extremely clean, we were quite impressed with the facility itself. Cats are allowed to roam free and also they appear to take great care of the animals. The problem came at the point of when we were to complete our application. The young lady helping us looked at our application and must have said at least 3-4 times there is a lot going on here. It came across that because we have four children and other pets that she assumed we had too much on our plates. We were looking to get our younger cat a playmate because our older cat does not want anything to do with him and she gets frustrated when he gets playful. While I agree with a thorough check of the people you are adopting too and asking a lot of questions we felt like we were being interrogated. It’s a wonderful thing to want what’s best for every animal but to tell us we looked up your house and because you live near a golf course there’s a chance if the cat gets out a coyote will eat it is the reason behind why we can’t adopt is absolutely crazy too me. We have never let our cats out and they have never come close to getting out. They are strictly indoor cats! It was quite disappointing considering we take wonderful care of our pets and basically left there feeling like we were told we weren’t good enough because we have a larger family. I wish everyone luck who goes there and hope you are treated more respectfully!

Their were literally 6 dogs in the shelter when i went in. They overcharge fot adoption fees and the service was awful and the workers were so rude.

Very nice exterior and they have a cat room where you can sit with the cats and pet them. The only thing is, there were only 2 adult cats and no kittens in sight. They also had only 3 adult dogs but no puppies. For a shelter, they do not have many animals which can be a good thing but at the same time, I heard the puppies in another building but was not able to see them. I dont understand why they'd house puppies if people aren't able to adopt them or see them.

Friendly staff who really care about the animals, it was a pleasure meeting everyone and being able to sit with the cats and hear about their quirks and dispositions before finding our perfect kitty.

Very clean place and they care about their pets. But the only bad thing is you can't take a pet home the same day. They like to do interviews with you and ask a lot of personal information. We were told it takes about 3 to 4 weeks before they pick a pet that would meet your needs. So the next day we got our cat at petsmart took him home that day.

Me and my best friend found a dog at a Walmart and out of the kindness of our heart we went ahead and took it here and the people were giving us a hard time I'm not exactly sure the procedures because I've never done this but we were really just dropping off a dog who needed some nurturing instead of outside by a trash can and they were asking us to stay to make sure that the dog was healthy were like this isn't even my dog like why would we do that so I was just confused on their procedure and then they wanted identification we were like we should just let the dog where it was maybe that's why no one wants to pick up dogs and take them to shelter because of the hassle! Really sad! But I hope that dog gets the care that it needs!

We’ve been there twice this month serious about pet adoption and both times we’ve gone employees who work there have been nothing but rude and arrogant. Every question is answered with a belittling tone and that’s if anyone even acknowledges you to begin with. It genuinely feels like they’re trying not to adopt the pets. Customer service or basic kindness might be in their best interest in order to have adoptions.

They are a wonderful place that I can not recommend enough. I really appreciated how they focus on finding the best home *for the pet* which may mean saying no to homes that arent a great fit, but a forever home that matches the pet is always best! We love our new kitty, he is a wonderul fit in our home and he is having a ton of fun.

We had such a great experience here. The adoption process was very thorough. I know they want their pets going to loving, safe homes.
