Dr. Cohen and the staff at Stetson Hills AH have taken care of 8 ferrets and 7 dogs belonging to me over the years. I traveled across town just to see this team. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. I moved away this month and will miss them on a professional and personal level. Dr. Cohen is the local ferret whisperer. There is no comparison to his surgical skill and clinical acumen. He and his staff were always willing to accommodate my schedule and tried to fit us in if an emergency arose. Thank you for all the years of great care. I will recommend this place to anyone in the area. The entire staff is amazing with my animals. I would go nowhere else if they are open.

Excellent staff!! I really like that they don't push services or supplies on you. They are very knowledgeable and super nice! Their prices are very reasonable as well. They were really good with my cat. They made her very comfortable. Its a great vet!

They have provided great care for our puppy since we rescued her a year ago. The front desk girls (and the vets) are so kind, even though they are always swamped, and they seem to really care about the animals. They even sent a text to check in after an injury!

We've been bringing our pups here for a couple of years, the staff is always friendly and take good care of our little guys.

Very caring and gentle with our dog Pinto and thoroughly explained x-rays which were seen the same day and even results of blood work were available next day. I was very relieved when I left with the knowledge of what my dog is dealing with and the vet cares about getting to the bottom of our dog's issues.Go see Dr.Dawson, your pet will be in good hands, she thoroughly addressed all my concerns and provided solutions for any issues that were diagnosed the same day.

I can’t say enough about how great this place was! I was visiting my family in AZ, when my dog got a UTI, and they got him in that day! They were great with my fur baby! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I will never take my animals to this hospital again we have had three different dogs doing different services here on multiple occasions they don’t fill our medication when there’s a surgery the next day. The girl at the front desk is so rude and put you on hold every single time you call the office is so on organized you’re questioning if they even know which dog is yours do not bring your animals to this place they do not care about animals and they do not care about the owners. My scheduled appointment for my dog to get fixed is tomorrow and I won’t be showing up I cannot give them another penny or ounce of my energy this place is garbage garbage garbage garbage

5 stars & more! We had to take our 5 yr old mixed breed dog in for updated rabies shot. (She had been there once before for exam & shots). She is extremely afraid of the vet experience. Dr. Cohen is the best along with Mindy who cut her nails (which she hates for anyone to touch her paws & has a bad front paw due to a break when she was a pup). Mindy was so caring & was even able to take the muzzle off for nail trimming! They did such a great job & showed such expertise every step of the way! Thank you ????????

I just wonder why they would have someone who looks like they are dressed up for holloween working at the front desk, the doctor should make sure her staff is professional, this is a business not a night club. How can I take your business seriously when my first impression is a young woman who has her face painted like a crazy person.

I can’t say enough about Stetson Hills Animal Hospital! My old vet of (15 years) was cutting back hours and it was getting harder and harder to get in with him, so I found my self looking for a new vet this year. For me, that’s a challenge to begin with because I’m very picky, but COVID made it even more difficult. I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful I think everyone is at Stetson Hills Animal Hospital!!! They have dealt with two major issues with two of my pets and have just knocked it out of the park both times! They are kind and very caring, give me all the options and let me decide, and have amazing follow up. I’m sure I could just go on and on. If you are thinking about giving them a try, I would! You won’t be disappointed!

We've been to this facility because of Dr. Cohen's high reviews. The second time we went to see them, our bill ended up being $1219 to remove 13 of our yorkie's teeth! Two years before that we had 19 teeth removed on Long Island in New York and paid $665! That should have raised red flags right off the bat to pay double the amount we paid in a location where everything costs much more than Arizona! The next visit we went to get our dog's vaccines updated. Knowing we were new to Arizona, they failed to advise that there was a fee we had to pay the county in order to register our dog. We ended up getting fined when we received the bill from the county. Dr. Cohen has asked us to medicate our dog before we bring him in because he is a hyper dog and Dr. Cohen is afraid of him. Harry is a yorkie with 4 teeth left! They've seen him before and have made us buy the medication and administer it the last time we saw them. Because of this request, we started going elsewhere to get his shots, and he goes in and comes back out wagging his tail without any medication! Now he is not feeling well. I tried to make an appointment to see the doctor and we were told we have to medicate him AGAIN! I tried to explain that I don't want to medicate a tiny senior dog that's already not feeling well. We could put a muzzle on him. They advised that they would not see him without the medication and they ask that of countless others! When I insisted and told them I would be writing a bad review, they advised to take our dog elsewhere and hung up! During the Covid-19 pandemic when we needed Dr. Cohen and Stetson Hills most, they failed and told us to go elsewhere. This is completely unprofessional, uncaring, and disheartening. I would NOT recommend Dr. Cohen or Stetson Hills Animal Hospital to my worse enemy, if I had any!

Nail trim $26??? Bill ended up being $78 for a basic check up... seriously?! ????

Absolutely phenomenal experiences with Stetson Hills Animal Hospital so far over the past few weeks. It is obvious the entire staff really cares about the animals they treat as well as the experience of their human customers. The staff is kind, friendly, and took their time with inspecting my dog as well as answering all my questions. They've also been extremely proactive checking in with me about my dog's condition. I highly, highly recommend taking your animals here.

Never in my life have I done a Google review but felt it important to acknowledge the excellence of Stetson Hills Animal Hospital. The entire staff, Dr. Cohen and Dr. Dawson, are beyond amazing, polite, professional. From my perspective as a MD/vascular surgeon, I can tell you these guys are top-notch: Great surgeons, Great clinicians, Great VETS, Great staff, Great everything. WORTH EVERY PENNY and SOME.

Dr. Cohen is simply the best at what he does. He has been my Vet for 20 plus years. He has my full trust. I could never take my pets anywhere else. He is so special to me. A god send. Thanks Dr. C and staff.

I found Stetson Hills Animal Hospital a little over a year ago. I have two older cats and one of my cats had been vomiting for probably over 5 years that the vet I was going to kept missing the diagnosis. I was searching the internet for vets and stumbled across Stetson Hills Animal Hospital. As soon as I read Dr. Cohen’s Bio I made an appointment soon after. I was hoping to find a doctor that was open to holistic avenues as well. As soon as I met Dr. Cohen I knew God sent me there. I knew how smart he was, I knew he was a doctor because he cares and he wants to save and help animals. When I met Dr. Dawson, I felt exactly the same about her she is smart and loving and cares. This entire practice rolls down from the doctors to all the technicians to the girls in the front handling everyone that walks through the door. Everyone here is doing this job because they want to and care. The ride for me to get here is not close to home but, I love and care about my animals and that’s that. I go where I feel is the best place for them and that’s here. Dr. Cohen and Dr. Dawson are unparalleled to any vets I’ve found in the valley since I moved here.
