They provide excellent services. We have the puppy plan currently and are very happy with the service they provide. Their attention to detail is really above The norm. They show genuine concern and patience patience and affection for our pet.

The vet and techs are all so caring! They are down to earth and loving to our pup. It's wonderful to see someone who loves for my animal as much as we do (if not more)!

Very poor customer service from the staff. I’ve brought my dog here multiple times. Recently every time I show up there seems to be some issue or some miscommunication with the staff. I have no complaints with the veterinarian she’s great. My problem is with the new staff. I called yesterday 8/26 trying to refill my dogs medication for his pain and spoke to Paul he told me that he would need to call me back. Of course he never did. So I called back before they closed and spoke to Paul again he told me to hold on that he needs to speak to the pharmacist. Then he put the pharmacist on phone to inform me that I have to come in to get my dog looked at in order to refill his medication. I said ok and asked what the soonest availability they have. Then pharmacist informed me that today 8/27 at 5:15 was the soonest. I verify the time over the phone multiple times. The lady made it very clear that 5:15 was my appointment time. I arrive today 8/27 at 5:10 and was informed that my appointment was not at 5:15 that it was at 4:45. I explained that I spoke to the pharmacist yesterday 8/26 and she made it very clear that 5:15 was my appointment time. Then a girl by the name of Kelsey explain to me that she was the one that set up the schedule for me and that I was wrong. I explain to her that I verify the time with her multiple times and she made it very clear to me that 5:15 was my appointment. Then gave me an attitude like I was crazy to even think that she would make a mistake. No sorry nothing. Between the lack of communication the attitude and with no indication of trying to make this right. Very disappointing horrible customer service.

Absolutely the best for my 2 fur babies. Each of the veterinarians there, care for my beagle for years, with compassion, knowledge and a heart. All the way through my Turbo’s sickness. They were always there when I needed them, always called me back with questions I had. I highly recommend them.

The wild camanche acted real good for Dr Roe and staff. They got him to relax for his checkup. He loved their treats???? Way to go Chase.

The staff at Desert Sky are amazing. They are always upbeat and the Drs are not only knowledgeable, but have great “bedside manners”. If you haven’t taken your pet here, just try them and you’ll see why we go here.

I called to ask about getting my rat cremated. The first thing that Paul asked was, "Is he a patient?" I wasn't since I've never needed to take my rat to the vet. He immediately said that they weren't taking any new clients then hung up. Now I get that Covid has made things harder for everyone and most clinics aren't taking new clients, but you're literally cremating a small rodent, and never seeing it again. I just wanted a way to preserve a pet close to me. I'm just disappointed that Paul couldn't care less, or even tell me to have a nice day.

Dr Blackwell and crew are wonderful and caring!

I have been taking my dogs here since they opened. My mom has been taking her dogs to Dr Blackwell since before she branched out on her own. They have always taken great care of my dogs. However, the last few months, when I have needed them the most, they are too busy to help. Don’t get me wrong - they are knowledgeable and the doctors are friendly IF you get an appointment. The front desk staff that answers the phone are rude and dismissive of the urgency of needing an appointment. They are quick to tell me to call other vets (which most are not taking new clients). Until these last few months, I had no issues, phenomenal service. Something has changed, and the service has been poor in regards to trying to be seen. I have to try to find a vet now that will accept new patients so that the emergency vet hospital does not become my only resource when my dogs are sick.

Update: after posting, the vet called me in an hour. Coincidence I don't know...3.5 stars if I could instead of 2. The call was appreciated, but I can't fix the past....I took my cat in for blood work and was advised everything was great and to just keep an eye on the numbers for thyroid for the future. I recently bought pet insurance and they requested my cat's records. I now have an exclusion for my cat for uremia (kidney issues). There were two items in the blood work that were high out of range that the vet did not tell me about and I still have that voicemail telling me that everything is great. I've requested that the doctor call the vet helpline which is available at the insurance to explain there is no concern and the response was that the vet will not do so. I was told I would get a call from the vet to also explain why this was not explained to me earlier and still no response after calling twice and requesting it and being told twice that someone would call me.

Everyone at Desert Sky is wonderful, they care for your pets and they are always happy to talk you through everything. Edit: the vets here are really wonderful. We had to put down our beloved dog and the Dr we saw was amazing. She was kind, patient, and very helpful. The rest of the staff was wonderful, too. Thank you everyone at Desert Sky.

Our dogs love this vet! They're always so loving and treat our animals as if they were theirs. They are reasonably priced and quick when it comes to scheduling. Currently they have curbside only so they take the pet in without the pet parent, but my dogs always come out so happy.

Fantastic doctors, friendly and caring staff. My pets love this office. Very responsive in addressing any health concerns and questions. Will continue to recommend this practice to friends and family.

This team of vets is amazing! Dr. Blackwell is especially intelligent and thoughtful in her veterinary care. Although the base fee per visit isn’t cheap, you get what you pay for. All of the doctors are willing to work with you in your budget. I have two cats and two dogs and have been bringing them there for four years. My favorite thing is when I have taken my German Shepherd there on a couple of occasions instead of telling me right away she needs surgery, Dr. Blackwell walked me through the steps we could take before considering surgery. She very obviously wasn’t interested in the money but was interested in getting my pet the comfort she needed in the way I could afford it

I'm glad we found this vet office. We came here initially because they had a opening for our sick bulldog. The staff was so compassionate and you could tell they really care about the animals. Even though we ended up losing our boy in the end. Everyone we dealt with was amazing to us and really tried to help. We are now using this vet for our new puppy... and the first thing they told me at our visit was how sorry they are for our loss and again the expression of compassion was overwhelming. We will be changing all out four legged family to this animal hospital from now on. ♥︎

I'm so impressed with the care and staff at Desert Sky. Dr. Blackwell took so much time in explaining my two dogs health issues and showed genuine caring for their well being. I'm so glad I found this place. I am confident my poodles are getting the very best healthcare possible.
