Since we rescued my pug, we have been working with my vet to try and get my dog's allergies under control. I needed a specialist to review her my pug's case and give me an honest diagnosis. Dermatology for Animals is amazing and helped so much. They took the time to explain everything to me, what my options could be, cause and reasons, and had medication in house so I didn't need to work with my pharmacy and get the meds I needed. I was so grateful to the team at Dermatology for Animals. Highly recommended if you need an allergy specialist for your pet

This place is amazing! When I first called (panicked) about my Beau and his mysterious illness, Jessica spent 30 minutes listening and calming my nerves. She reassured me that Dr. Schick would hear my concerns and not give up on Beau. During our appointment Dr. Schick was on the floor with my boy rubbing his belly, giving him treats and reassuring him. We all left the office with some hope that after 6 months of testing and being told that he was an enigma and may have to just live with his pain we saw some light!!!

Dermatology for Animals has been wonderful is helping to get my dogs allergies under control. They spend time explaining everything and all of the staff is helpful and kind.

I was extremely disappointed with the service. The Vets simply wanted to prescribe a pill and put my Scooby on a new food. 2 - 3 am months later I was back with another ear or skin infection. Same drill, new pill and different food. Only food that was recommended was what was in there office - go figure. Never recommended raw diet because they don't make money when they don't sell it. Obviously it doesn't matter if it is best for the dog. Put my dog on a raw diet and it took care of his issues. Beware of Vet's, they know very little about nutrition and I am living proof of that.

My dog is high anxiety and very reactive. Dr. Lewis was so great with him, instantly - he didn't get nervous or frustrated with the dog. My appointment was 4/5 weeks out and I was on the cancellation list - they ended up calling two days later and got me in (and I'm not sure we'd have made it another month to be honest). Explanation of costs was very clear over the phone before the visit and before I checked out. It's only been 4 days but treatment seems to be working (knock on wood ha ha). Overall great experience! Thank you!

Dr. Lewis is amazing. I work in the veterinary field and have exhausted all means at our clinic to provide my dog Tank with relief from his allergies. He talked about the research he has done and why he recommended one brand of food over the other. He took patient time explaining each thing that he thinks is going on. I am hoping the food trial helps my pup, but I do know it is a process and it may not be the end solution for him. I found it 100% worth it to drive from West Buckeye out to him. Even with the curbside protocol, they still take the time to explain things and make sure all the questions you have are answered. Thank you guys!!!

Dr Lewis in the Gilbert AZ office took a lot of time to explain several options for treatment and the pros and cons of each. I really appreciated not feeling rushed and being able to ask questions. And the technician who collected and delivered Manny at my car was very sweet with him and made sure I understood all the meds instructions. Great office!

After numerous appts. with other Vets we finally know what is wrong with our kitten. Dr. Lewis and all of the staff were extremely comforting and professional with our kitten "Alix" and she is now being treated for this rare disease and showing signs of improvement. This is exactly where Alix needed to go and we thank everyone at Arizona Dermatology for Animals for the excellent care we all received.

This dermatology clinic was very helpful with our dogs allergy symptoms. They are fully 100% helping us discover her allergy the right way, helping us every step of the way. The first food they picked out our dog threw up the first bit and refused to eat it. They were very concerned with the outcome and had us bring that bag in for a full refund, then help us decide a better alternative, while listening to our concerns, and providing a valuable game plan. We feel safe in their hands that they’ll provide the best care for our 2 year old pup/princess.

They can really determine what the issue is for that tough problem with your pet that may go un-diagnosed with your family Vet & bring some relief to your pet from the issue they are going through. They are very professional, yet personal & loving with your pet as if they were their own.

Left several voicemails to get an appointment. after several weeks they FINALLY call me back and won't accommodate a quick appointment. I bring my dog to the oncologist right next to them and drive 45 minutes to get there. Because they couldn't call me back timely I can't get in. Nice. Guess I wouldn't want my dog seen by a Dr that can't respond timely and refuses to accommodate anyway. Glad I know now before they treated my sweetheart.

D4A has been a Godsend for my Westie Frosty. He has such bad allergies that we could not get under control. We have been going to D4A for the past year and he has improved greatly. He has occasional flair ups but when he does we take him back to D4A and they come up with a plan. Both Dr. Lewis and Dr. Frost have been wonderful to work with including the entire staff.

It's obvious that the vet and the staff really care about their patients. They are warm and friendly and take the time to explain what the options are and the likely outcomes.

It has been a long road for my 1.5 year old dog, for the past year he has been struggling with itchy skin and after many vet visits $$ we were referred here by our vet. We eventually decided to do an allergy test and with the help of Dermatology for Animals we have an answer to why he is itchy, the process to try to make him better was explained very clearly and thoroughly. Highly recommend, very clean and reliable.

Dr Hess really took the time to assess all of our girls' problems & even diagnosed a couple of things we weren't aware of (who knew dandruff could be caused by a yeast infection of her skin!). She spent a lot of time with us going over different treatments available & her recommendations. Our girl is a complicated case & she wanted to confer with a couple of other specialists to see if there were any other options available. That evening she personally emailed us with more information. We are following her plan & our girl is improving! The clinic is very clean, the front office staff were really helpful, compassionate & clearly loved our furry family members. The prices were extremely fair! I really expected to pay more because it is a specialty clinic, but they actually charged less for a procedure than we paid our regular veterinarian. Their Covid protocol at this clinic is not curbside at the moment, we were allowed inside the waiting area, there are partitians & in the exam room we were inside & Dr Hess spoke with us from the doorway. Really nice to actually have a conversation in person!

I couldn't be more impressed with Dr. Lewis and his staff! Dr. Lewis has 30 plus years of experience with canine allergies and it shows. He took the time to explain why he was suggesting the treatments and used the tests that were ran by my vet instead of rerunning and recharging me. Amy, his assistance, was able to anticipate what her role was and worked with Dr. Lewis so smoothly. They were so knowledgeable and their love of animals is so obvious. It was easy to make an appointment and everyone was so courteous. I highly recommend them!

Expert, professional, very thorough care!

Everyone that I have dealt with at this office is amazing. They take time to talk and get to k is your pet instead of rushing you. I am so glad I found them to help my pet.

I've wanted to write a review for ages to say how grateful I am to have found Dermatology for Animals, Dr. Lewis and staff. I went to our regular vet numerous times and received misdiagnosis and Bruno suffered. Finally was referred to Dr Lewis and Bruno was diagnosed with pemphigus. The diagnosis was a shock. But with Dr Lewis' treatment Bruno was without sores and itching within a few months. We kept up the preventative treatment and eventually no longer needed his meds. Its been years since there has been any symptoms. There is hope with pemphigus and Bruno is proof. Attached are his before pictures from Sept 2016 and his most recent picture. Can't say enough....thank you!

Can't say enough great things about our wonderful experience at Dermatology for Animals, for two years and two vet clinics our Schnauzer still had swollen red paws and drastically thinning fur. Finally we received a recommendation to try Dermatology for Animals to see if Krystal had an allergy or something else, what a relief, finally our little pooch is pain free and able to go on long walks again, thanks to Dr. Lydia Harbour and Dermatology for Animals in Gilbert.

Drs and staff are amazing. My fifi is a difficult dog because she is so anxious and scared of everything. The drs were so patient with her and so thorough at my appointment. The most thorough appointment I've ever had at any dr. I really feel like I got my money's worth for the high quality of service. Feel thankful to have found such a great dr.

The doctor spent a lot of time explaining what she was doing and what she was finding. Both my wife and I enjoyed the interaction. Our dog's condition cleared up the next day after a month of trial and error at a different vet.

Dr Lockwood and the entire D4A staff are nothing short of amazing. The level of care we get is unmatched and they all really and truly care about their patients. My boy has a difficult skin condition, but the level of attention Dr Lockwood and staff provides is outstanding.
