Excellent vet but extremely over priced, especially for dental work.

Not taking my pet to a place that can’t answer simple questions over the phone.

The best vet team i have ever dealt with, at any time. The sweetest people that always make me smile, even through a really rough time with my little guy. I will always recommend this team to anyone who asks.

Had two dogs that needed to be seen fairly urgently, but were new patients to the practice. The staff worked with me to get both seen in a timely matter. The two doctors that we saw (Savarese and Cooper) along with their amazing techs both got down on the floor to assess and my pups fell in love!

I love this place. You can reach them via text and they really do care about the animals. I love that they follow up after an appointment to check in to see how things are going and offer advice for things you can do at home. The solution is not ashtrays to being them in and spend money.

I can not rave enough about the staff and doctors at this clinic! They have immensely helped my rescue pit who we happened to adopt when she was very sick. The receptionists are always so empathetic and do their very best to get us in as soon as possible. I can’t thank AAWC enough for their care.

This vet has been nothing but a money grab from my experiences. I have two older dogs 13+ and they are always looking to perform unnecessary tests. One of my dogs requires a daily digestive enzyme, and the vet would not refill prescription without an office visit, even though the dog has been on the enzyme for years and maintains weight and energy levels consistently. They recently changed policy and no longer allow prescription refills through online pharmacies such as Chewy, stating safety and authenticity concerns. These are the exact same prescriptions in brand as i would purchase directly from them, or their recommended online pharmacy Covetrus. NO THX...Avoid this Vet

Just got my first pet since childhood. Had our second appointment today. This place is fantastic. The wait time is non existent. They are wonderful at explaining whatever you want to know - procedures, care practices, costs (upfront). Really grateful for a great experience starting me off!

Super pleased switching over Vets. Genuinely care for our new pup, called the day after shots just to check on her.

The guys and gals working here are totally awesome people with big hearts. They truly love what they do and it shows on their faces. Our loved ones, our babies are special to them also. We trust these people with our babies 100%.

Years ago my pit, Lilly, was in tremendous pain due to valley fever. It was a Friday and I knew I couldn't bare to see her in pain the whole weekend. AZ Animal Wellness let me come in with minutes to spare before they were supposed to close. The whole team stayed on as they made sure Lilly wasn't in pain. I was so lost knowing she would be put to sleep, but everyone there went out of their way to take care of her, which was exactly what I needed as well. I printed up a photo of Lilly and framed it for them. What could've been a horrible time ended up being beautiful because of the staff here. Cannot recommend enough.

The two nurses were PHENOMENAL in helping calm the kitty during a blood draw. The COVID-19 protocols are very efficient. One of the quickest and least painful trips to a vet I've EVER been part of. Thank you so much!

I have an older dog that I've been taken to Arizona Animal Wellness Center for about four or five visits during the last six months for different reasons. The staff communicates regularly and is very nice. They let me know about the cost of each service right away. I think their timing in explaining cost may not be appropriate. Sometimes they are asking for my payment while I'm still processing the information about what is wrong with my dog. And then each time we were there, they were offering additional services which made me question if it was medically necessary. Each visit just felt like a money grab. For many of us, our pets are our family members and this place makes me uncomfortable in how they have treated me as a customer - from upselling services to requiring immediate payment. And they don't answer their phones. You can't get a real person when you call them. You have to text. For the amount of money they charge, I expect better customer service. Yes, I am switching vets.

Very disappointed in this place! Our kitten broke his foot when he jumped off a cat tower onto a plant and fell. Initial visit cost was over $600 with x-rays, a pain reliever and anti-inflamatory medicine. They told us he might have a life-long limp and that he will probably need surgery. When I talked to the surgeon they said he definitely didn't need surgery. The following visit they charged $83 dollars to look at the injury and put on a new bandage that they decorated Christmas style and posted all over their social media without asking for approval. That bandage fell off 2 days later and when I asked to have it reapplied they said it would cost another $23 and they would not waive the fee. Why would I pay for their poor bandaging? With this kind of treatment it becomes apparent they don't care about our kitten or us as clients. But rather more about their business. Trying to get more money from their patients and spending more time on using my family member to promote their company on social media than to give adequate and compassionate care. This place is a big disappointment. I would not recommend their services. And I would second guess their diagnoses.

We have a good experience here overall but I don't like the billing practices. I got a vaccine for my dog that needed a follow-up booster, they said at the first visit the booster was paid for with the payment with the first shot and the follow-up would just be to give the booster and no charge. When we arrived they charged us for the booster. I wouldn't have minded if they hadn't explicitly told us it was covered.

I have been coming here for at least 20 years and have trusted them with every dog I have owned. Every single person on their staff has been fabulous and even thru the pandemic they quickly found was to continue care safely. Only wish I could find care this good for myself. Highly recommend for your extended fur family!!!

It was good. The staff seem to really care and I don't worry about my little fur baby while he's there. Only problem... they still don't let you in. You check in at a drive up window and wait in your car.

I highly recommend this clinic. I've been taking my dog here for the past several years and I've had nothing but positive experiences. The staff are competent and thorough. They have always been friendly and gentle while taking care of my special needs dog (even though he misbehaves from time to time). Additionally, they have always given 100% to help me and my dog through tough times. Excellent work!!
