We took our dog for the training retreat and she came back a much better behaved dog! Storm was amazing and gave us all the necessary tools to continue on with the training at home. We look forward to future classes with hunter canine.

We put our dog through Hunter Canine rattlesnake avoidance course earlier this year and were told she did a great job. We were hesitant as to whether or not it was actually going to work. We'll, MONTHS later, she just encountered her first rattler in front of us. That thing started to rattle and she could not get away from that thing fast enough!! We are so proud of her and are so thankful for the training course. It was WELL worth the $$

Love this place! My 1 year old pup is one of the most stubborn breeds and Hunter Canine has been absolutely amazing with him. You can tell they are true dog lovers and have so much love and patience! Would recommend this place to everyone

Hunter Canine is amazing. We have 2 dogs who were 4 & 5 when we took them to a training retreat. They started having aggression issues and I wasn't sure where to start. HC has changed our lives and brought peace to our home. We are so happy to have a facility we are comfortable with watching our babies when we go on Holiday and we will be taking advantage of their different class offerings. I highly recommend.

Outstanding place to take your dog

I highly recommend Hunter Canine. Their 3 week training program turned Oliver into a well behaved dog. They also provided great guidance for us. Truly super good at heir kraft, they treat their guest (dogs) well and are a pleasure to partner with. Great value for the investment.

I have to say so far so good. Our dog Loki has been home for about four weeks and we are pretty happy with the results. Is he perfect? No! Does it take a lot of work on our part? Yes. He has some aggression issue and I feel much more confident with him now. He listens on walks and we can get him to ignore the things that set him off before.

Fantastic training programs and boarding. They're the only place I leave my Gus.

I just completed the group beginner obedience class and it was excellent. My 7 month old cane corso is walking on a leash a lot better, sitting, downing, and staying. Their teaching style is very helpful and very different from what you see on youtibe videos. in person training specifically at hunter canine is invaluable. I highly recommend this place!

Our 2 year old German Shepherd rescue was difficult for us to control, especially when she saw other dogs. Justin was our main trainer and he did wonders for training our dog and me. Kristi, Caity and the rest of the staff are amazing. We’re now working on Canine Good Citizen training to keep her on track. I can’t say enough good about Hunter Canine.

My Giant Schnauzer, Loki, just completed the three week training program. The facility here is top notch and immaculate. The staff is wonderful, I worked with Justin who was the upmost professional and extremely knowledgeable. I feel the best part, other than the actual training, is the ongoing support and education that they offer. They let you know that they are always available if you need them! I’m very happy with the results and everything Loki learned at the retreat is being implemented at home with great results.

What a great experience it has been training my puppy at Hunter Canine. Justin does a great job teaching & helping our dogs become "good dogs"! Even though mine is not perfect, she is much, much better then the 1st night. We had never heard about training retreats where you actually left your dog in the hands of others for weeks, but when our 1 year old black lab was getting too out of control for us we enlisted Chad and his team. We looked at a few places but between Hunter Canines reviews and the honest and lengthy conversation I had with chad, the owner, I felt very confident in their abilities. The 2 trainings we did with rocky while he remained at the facility shocked my husband and I as they completely transformed our dog to a be respectful and obedient but he still has his sweet personality which was very important to us (we didn’t want a robot dog when he came home). Our lab Rocky is now home with us and we’re working on following all of Chad’s instructions but rocky is still following all his rules he was taught and thanks to chad we have a sheet to remind us how to continue his training as I was very nervous I wouldn’t know how to properly continue training. I feel very confident now in the future of our dog so thank you so much Chad and Hunter Canine. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for help with their dogs!!

As I’m sure you all know, we love you guys so much! I am so happy we invested in training Sirius...worth every penny and every minute we spend there. Best place to get your dog trained!

I took my bulldog here at 5 months old. He's now 3 and has retained most of his training. I get compliments all the time about how well mannered he is especially for bulldog. This was honestly one of the best investments I've made!

These trainers really know their stuff. Beyond that they are passionate and talented. I highly recommend Hunter Canine to anyone who loves their dogs.

Great facility with trainers and staff that care!

Hunter Canine is the best place to take your dog for training!!! After going through a different trainer for our nervous blue heeler we didn't feel like the techniques we were taught were really helping us. While he was good on the leash outside of our house he was a disaster at home. Barking constantly, jumping on guests and whining in the crate when people would come over. We took him in for the 3 week training retreat and when we got him back we were to amazed to see how much he improved. While we still struggle with his behaviors at home we have been given so many tools to try and break his bad habits. Even after he got back from his training retreat and I had a question about a behavior we were struggling to correct, I was able to call Chad and speak to him on ways to solve the problem we were having. You can tell that Chad and his team truly care about helping you succeed in your training. We loved how well our heeler did with the program we began to teach our other dog the same commands! We also have a rescue that we struggled with marking in the house and barking at other dogs while out for walks. After a failed attempt at petsmart training we took him in for the training retreat as well. Even though it is a big investment the results a so worth it! It is amazing to be able to have all three dogs in the house on their place beds while guests come over and it be quiet without any chaos. Thank you Chad, Nicole, Justin and everyone at Hunter Canine for everything you have done for us! We can't wait to come back for more training!!

This is a bit late reviewing this but not really happy with the results from the 3 week training retreat. Max showed very little change from the time he went in to the time he came out. Chloe got better at the basics which helps but wasn't why I took them there. The only takeaway I have is place and even that I have had to work nonstop for months to get them to even do it after we got home.

Hunter Canine is hands down the nicest dog training facility in the USA. I am a professional dog trainer in Salt Lake City, UT. I have spent weeks and weeks at the Hunter Canine facility learning how to train dogs and give my clients the best techniques for dog training out there. I know of many other professional dog trainers who also have gone to Hunter Canine to learn better techniques. I always say if you want to be the best learn from the best. That is what Hunter Canine is, hands down, the Best!

Excellent training facility. Dogs are worked through their specific issue by skilled individuals who care. Love is the best reward. Caitlin was awesome; extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My bulldog has show significant improvement since completing his 3 week stay. He loves going back to "camp" for his follow up classes. Great job Caitlin and Chad. WE LOVE HUNTER CANINE.
