I called and asked for help after a death of a family member and this lady Began tearing me down and complaining about her 14 hour work day. I ended up hanging up on her then she left me a long voice Mail telling me how rude I was then sent me a text telling me I was a POS

A young family I know contacted this "rescue" which is a loose term for it. The young family is struggling with their dog being to rough with their daughter and finding out that they will be having another child. They contacted this rescue and the rudeness was just over powering. Already it was hard for this young couple to do this. They don't help animals they guilt shame people. Don't listen to the whole story. Blame you and make you feel rotten. They would rather you keep a dog that is going to hurt a child, then help you and tell you to go shoot yourself. Please do not adopt from these people. I will be contacting all their so called sponsors and who they help get animals from. If they treat people this way imagine how they treat the animals.

EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. UNBELIEVABLY JUDGMENTAL. I will be reporting this "business" to the BBB.

Be sure to read the owner's response to the bad reviews on here, and it will illustrate exactly how she treats people-rudely, full of lies, and she just has to get that last word in!!!!!!! She is the most horrible person I've ever met in my life!!!

Karen is the rudest and most judgemental person I have ever dealt with.

Everything about 2DaRescue was great! I adopted Ike a week ago and everything is going fantastic. Thank you Karen and company!

The majority of these bad reviews seem to be just people angry over her not accepting a surrender. We adopted our sweet boy Toby from her a few days ago and she was amazing! Very informative, straight forward and the rudeness people got were probably just her being blunt. If I ever adopt another pup or have someone looking, I’ll point them in her direction!

"2darescue" huh???? I should have read the reviews before asking you bums for help. This is a perfect example too never ever let Karen's be in charge. Worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Give them 0 stars and I really hope they get shut down. Shame how people can work for animals and be like this. Time to start shutting down neglectful abusive companies.

Karen, staying true to her name told me that my severe cat allergy wasn't a good enough reason to give up our cat. Along with training the pets, please train your employees as well aboutwhat medical conditions affect the animals or pet owners instead of being rude and ignorant.

Karen is the absolute rudest person I have ever encountered. I only spoke to her over the phone and she simply cut me off before I even told her what I was calling for and basically told me to just keep my dog as if I don’t want to…. Her demeanor isn’t one of caring for anything. She’s a bad person.

Not sure about some of the reviews but my wife and I adopted a very sweet and loving girl from karen she was kind and the process was very smooth. "Addy" who since we have changed her name to Sadie-Lynn is a very sweet loving girl full of energy, curiosity, loves to play and be loved in return. We've grown very attached to her in such a short time and love taking her with us on our outings. She is now family for life. Thank you Karen!

Why is Karen even allowed to interact with customers when 90% of the time, she's complete trash? Everyone needs to connect the Better Business Bureau and any other places that could investigate this monster and hold her accountable.

I have a panic/anxiety disorder and agoraphobia I used to have a little yorkie for years since she was a puppy but when the grandchildren started coming along she would bite them. my husband and I decided we need to give her to someone else so we gave to an elderly lady who didn't have anybody, we decided to search rescue shelters the person there Karen make me feel like the lowest person on the Earth because we gave our dog to someone because she would bite the children she made me feel so awful and worthless never want to give my baby away but I didn't know what else to do. Her comments were hurtful and unnecessary. Now I am looking at pet shops were I'm not judged and treated that way.

Karen was absolutely amazing. I had found a stray and could not find her owners. I had exhausted all of my resources and Karen was able to help the sweet girl I found. I know she will be well taken care of until she can find her forever home.

Karen's her own worst enemy. (I appreciate the people who adopt from her. It doesn't matter where you adopt as long as you adopt. I don't mean to discourage anyone this way. But, wow. Check out her Yelp reviews threatening someone with gun violence, destroying a foster's property.). The irony is that she doesn't see how she runs people off, resulting in fewer dogs in her rescue (because she can't get more people to help).

Karen is BEYOND AMAZING! Our family adopted Dudley & she brought him to do a home visit & went over his history with us completely & made sure we were completely comfortable. She even told us not to hesitate to call with any questions or concerns! If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you so much ????

The owner called our dog obese and complained we didn’t have grass in our back yard but we have rocks. We live in Arizona not everyone has money to get grass. And our dog is within his weight limits. Then she judged our food that we feed …

My wife and I adopted a sweet two-year-old female mixed breed dog from 2DaRescue just two days ago. The staff at 2DaRescue couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Early on it became evident that while we were "auditioning" dogs for possible adoption, the staff was listening to us as we described our lifestyle, experience, and home conditions to see if WE qualified as a suitable "fit" for an adoption. We loved that! How often do we get to pick out a family member? We take what we get. Hopefully our own families are warm, loving, nurturing and empathetic, but it may not always work out that way. Here's a chance to shift the odds in our and the dog's favor. Karen did everything she could to make certain that happened. Katelyn did more than what's to be expected and delivered a "loaner" crate for Layla's first night home. It's obvious that they have invested in and love their animals. Layla is happily settling in and we're very grateful for what all the folks did at 2DaRescue to make this happen. Don & Debby

Do not adopt from here. A friend's dog was stolen from him and taken to this shelter to be put up for adoption, and Karen is fully aware that this dog was stolen and refuses to give it back to the owner. The dog in question is a young male white husky, who goes by the name Azor. Karen has ignored all of our pleas to give him back and has now gone to the lengths to change his name to Echo, in hopes of making him appear to be a different dog. She is now technically fully assisting the theft of this dog. Considering this information, it makes me wonder how many other dogs she has re-homed against previous owners' wishes The thieves lived in the same flat as the original owner, they had easy access to take pictures of Azor so they could easily pass him off as theirs.

The person who surrendered Azor is not the owner. I have complete proof of ownership. I was at the ER in serious condition. These people got rid of my dog while I was hospitalized. Please return him. I will show proof three vet papers, photos, texts from the breeder, and his training.

Seven years ago my son and I adopted Ivy. She had quite the backstory. Ours was the fifth home and last home for her. Thankfully Karen never gave up on her and was determined to find the perfect fit. Four years ago we were ready for another addition to our family. I saw a posting on 2darescue Facebook page of another dog just before Christmas. I feel in love with her that moment. I surprised my son and drove to their adoption location with Ivy in tow. Karen remembered us and introduced us to Holly. I share this with anyone that is considering adopting from 2darescue.. THERE IS NO RESCUE BETTER.. JUST ASK MY CHRISTMAS PUPS IVY AND HOLLY.

First off, I adopted one of my babies here and she is my angel, actually, she can be a real buggar, too! But I called Karen today when we found a little dog on the streets and just couldn't keep her. Karen answered herself and, though she was busy and full. offered to take her in. That's shows dedication and a person who is really doing this from the heart. Luckily we found her people, but were very impressed with Karen and 2DaRescue. Thanks again!

We did not have a pleasant experience with this rescue. Reading the webpage, it states that all the dogs are in foster homes, but when we went to meet a certain dog, we were directed to a low end kennel in Phoenix. All the pets available for adoption where in the kennel. Each had its own cage. The dog we selected turned out to be very destructive and shredded the bedding, tore plants out of planters and the ground, ripped shoes apart. She also bit my husband. It is not nipping when it breaks the skin. Karen yelled at us when we asked for our adoption fee to be returned. Called us all sorts of things and told us the fault was ours. Instead of acting like an adult, she had a temper tantrum. When we said we had a problem, she could have avoided all of this by saying” let’s see if we can find another dog for you.” Be careful if you decide to adopt from this place.

I adopted my baby Fletcher and he is just perfect he just matches with me so well. Karen is so nice and she really cares about her animals and is always willing to help me with training Fletcher. I would definitely recommend adopting from them.

A really good friend of mine was in the ER in critical condition for 2 weeks, he had asked a friend to keep an eye on his dog while he was there, but instead of doing so they sold his dog to this shelter. They told this shelter that my friend was a "female" in rehab and continued to spew information about him "neglecting" and "abusing" his dog. He has been trying to get him back and I'm very displeased that anyone would do such a thing to a person, he loves his dog so much and would never abuse him and neglect him in any shape or form. He has tried to prove to this shelter that the dog is his, but they have been telling him that he was neglecting him and abusing him and will not let him have his dog back.

I’m sharing this post since the rescuers organization keeps deleting my family’s posts. We adopted Mallie and it wasn’t a match. It’s sad, but it happens and I hope she finds a loving home. …

I love the idea of the rescue but dealing with Karen was AWFUL! I work with Veterans and I have helped many with their adoption process and NEVER will we use this place again. Karen threatened us, stated we lied to her, refused to adopt a anomal to one of my vets, very judgmental and discriminatory. As for the other reviews...they must have found Karen on a good day. Initially she was nice, but she became angry, irritable, spoke about how she couldnt handle driving the pets around and said she was "sick of dealing with people". She is unstable! She threated to use gun violence in a review I just read! WTH!!!!!!!!!!!! Shut this lady down...these animals are about control to her! She threated one of my Vets!
