This place is really nice. It's open it's clean it's quiet and everyone that works there is very nice and knowledgeable and understanding and compassionate. Right now what they'll do is have you fill out your paperwork in the parking lot that is numbered and then they'll come out when they're ready to see you so it works out really nice! Highly recommended!

Whenever I am going somewhere new I do some due diligence and check the Google reviews to get a sense of how the public feels about the business. Cat Clinic of Woodstock had some great reviews and some not so great reviews. I take them with a grain of salt as there are always outliers at both extremes and I prefer to give someone a chance and the benefit of the doubt. As it had been a lot of years since our cats had physical exams and we were looking at boarding facilities for the future we made a 3PM appointment for our two cats. We arrived 5 minutes early, did some paperwork, and were put in a small room and were told that we were next to be seen and would be moved to a bigger room. After 30 minutes I opened the door and asked one of the staff members when we would be seen. She replied that as a “standby” we would be seen when they had space. I responded by stating that we were scheduled for 3 PM and over 30 minutes had gone by with no communication. 15 minutes later a staff member said the tech was getting the room ready and it would be a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later, I asked another staff member what was happening and got the same story about getting everyone ready. 60 minutes in a small cramped room with the cats in the carriers I can handle, but the total lack of communication and updates is what led us to say enough as we picked up the cats in their carriers and said that we are not staying. As a Chiropractor of 40+ years and having taught practice management to students as well as other practitioners, my clearest observation was just the lack of any compassion, care, or concern for us or our animals. At no time did anyone say I'm sorry or make an attempt to apologize for the delay. You get one chance to make a first impression and Cat Clinic of Woodstock failed miserably. We will be looking elsewhere for care and boarding facilities. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A WEEK WITH NO RESPONSE. THE SILENCE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

I have mixed feelings about this cat clinic. We had to put our cat down last week and Dr McBride and the vet tech were so compassionate and professional during the euthanization process. We got to stay with our kitty the whole time. It was difficult leaving her body there, but I knew we would be receiving her ashes, so there was some comfort. The paperwork I signed said she would be cremated alone and we could pick up the ashes in about a week. We just found out today that the crematorium made a mistake and cremated her along with multiple cats! So we do not get to bring her ashes home with us. We had already even ordered an engraved urn for her. The clinic was apologetic and removed the cremation charges and are giving us a shadowbox with a clipping of our cat’s fur and a clay paw print of her paw, but it is a small consolation for the lack of her remains. We have been upset all afternoon, mourning again, and feeling like we are lacking a sense of closure. We have somewhat lost our trust in this vet clinic and are not sure we will continue to do business here with our other cats. The staff here is very kind and accommodating, but I wouldn’t recommend trusting them to handle the cremation of your cat.

Pricey but well worth it if your cat needs expert care or a diagnosis for something unusual. 24 hour/ Dog free practice as well means they're focused/ experienced in cat biology in an emergency. My cat had a weird fluid filled mass on her neck removed here that several other vets said they weren't experienced enough to remove. Dr. King surgically removed it expertly, my cat was given human grade gas, plenty of pain support and Dr. King managed to stitch up a very strange shaped wound in a precarious area beautifully. They're sticklers for running ALL the tests pre-surgery because they prioritize providing a high standard of care. Great clinic. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. My first encounter was with my childhood cat who was 11 and unfortunately had to be euthanized. Even though I was extremely torn about it, they really did make my family and I feel comfortable with our decision. Now, as an adult on my own, I have 2 kitties that come here. Every time the staff is exceptionally sweet and caring and always willing to get to the bottom of things also while keeping budget in mind. Terri was super sweet and Dr.Rivera is as well! Thank you for creating a welcoming environment!

Very calm vet especially for cats. No barking or making them nervous. The staff is great and works you in if needed or the weekend. Fair prices and overall good experience

I called to schedule an appointment and was on hold for over 30 minutes. During that 30 minutes every so often the hold music would change to ringing, someone would answer and ask if I could go on hold. I felt that it was very rude and unprofessional.

A few weeks ago, my kitty of 13.5 years stopped eating. I took him to be seen to diagnose what was wrong. As it turned out, it was cancer and euthanasia was the best option for him. While we were there the staff was very sympathetic and made the process as peaceful as possible for him leaving this world and understanding and compassionate for the heartbreak my 14 yr old and I were going through. I have other cats both a year and under and they have been just as warm and helpful with both of them. The youngest kitten just 9 weeks old going through some highly unusual complications requiring surgery. They have called to check on him and offer advise. They have recently become a 24 hour clinic too. I think that this place is awesome too because they house kitties in need of a home, but screen too for good candidates $100 adoption fee and questions about your home, call prior vet to ensure current furr babies are up to date on vaccines and even do a 24 hr cool down to prevent emotional adoptions and regrets. But it isn't over the top screening. I love this place.

This place is nice since they have a separate section of the hospital just for kitties. It gets a little busy at times but the staff is super sweet and attentive

In the 30+ years we've been pet owners, Dr Del Anderson of Cat Clinic of Woodstock is the best veterinarian we have ever encountered. Let me tell you why. He recently treated our 17-year-old Ragdoll cat for a persistent UTI which entailed multiple visits and multiple phone conversations. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and patient, his love for animals clearly shines through. He has shown so much patience in explaining and re-explaining medical issues to me when I was slow to understand AND he carefully listens to all my input when diagnosing/prescribing. I'm sure he is very busy, but he never made me feel rushed, and he always took the time to make sure all my questions were answered, both over the phone and in person. All of the staff have been absolutely wonderful here, but I wanted to write a special review for Dr Del Anderson because of his outstanding work caring for our Ragdoll cat "Little Girl".

We took our 9 year old Sheamus to them yesterday morning, he was not eating and was lethargic, they did blood work and xrays. They doctor came in & gave us a long list of what she felt might be the cause. It was like she was just guessing. Said that his potassium was low. We left him there for fluids with potassium. When we picked him up that afternoon he appeared to be in worse shape than he was that morning. Well, he got a lot worse. He couldn't walk, couldn't even stand up, having a very difficult time breathing. He wouldn't take any water. Started crying out as if in pain. At 10pm we had to make the difficult decision to end his pain. Sheamus passed away at 12:15 this morning in our arms. I will never take any of my other fur babies to them. It is as if they have no clue as to what they are doing. After being charged almost $1000 I feel that I should have atleast some answers as to what was wrong with my baby.

Tried 2 times to make an appt and I was placed on hold and waited 10 minutes for anyone to respond. Called back twice and no one answered after 15 rings each time. Thank you but I’ll find someone who is at least responsive to calls.

I had a very sick cat and they checked him out immediately. Went over everything with great patience and exactly what was going on. We ended up having to send to our Sammy Baby to Kitty Heaven. No more suffering. You could actually feel they really cared and felt my pain. Thank you all for being so wonderful

Good service. Our hamster got treated here. They explained everything in detail about what needed to be done. We waited in the car until she was ready.

I took my Scottish Fold to this clinic because I am aware of specific problems this breed has. The veterinarian (a man not listed in the bios) asked me if she was a Scottish Fold. Will not be going back.

I had a cat for 15 years, and we tried different vets throughout his life. From the start of ownership to the inevitable, the Cat clinic took great care of my friend. Their specialist knowledge and obviously experienced staff will take excellent care of your pet while sagely guiding, you, the responsible owner.

I thought my sweet Maxx was having hiccups for a week, but when I realized it was something worse, I called my vet but they were booked and told me to take him to the emergency vet. I called the cat clinic and even though they were booked, they had compassion for my Maxx and worked him in. I am so grateful that they did. Turns out he is pretty sick with respiratory issues, but Dr. Monroe was very, very sweet and helpful. It’s almost liked she loved my cat as much as I do! I didn’t even get to meet her due to COVID, but the bedside manner over the phone was impeccable. We definitely have our new veterinarian home for our Maxx at the cat clinic! Thank you Dr. Monroe and team!

I can not say enough good about the Cat Clinic of Woodstock. I have been bringing my cats to Dr Weaver and her team of pet care professionals since we moved to this area in 2001. I was thrilled when they decided to separate into two entities to create the cat clinic. It makes a huge difference for the kitties who are already stressed from being out of their home to have a much quieter and dog free environment. They took care of my cat Midnight from age 6 until he passed away at 18 and my baby Smokie was in their care his entire life. Smokie came to us as a tiny baby who was quite ill. He had multiple issues both genetic and acquired from being born to an outside mother who was also unhealthy. When I first brought Smokie in none of us were hopeful that he would make it but that little fighter and the skill of the docs and staff got him through and even though his road was often bumpy he did live to the age of 15 which was long past any expectations for a cat with his problems. I will be forever in their debt for getting him through so much and seeing to it that his quality of life was really good right up until the end. A few months after Smokie passed away I adopted a wonderful pair of brothers from them, Sam and Dean. They had been born around the time Smokie passed away and grew up with the people at the Cat Clinic. They are so very sweet, a very bonded pair and I always felt that they were fated to be my babies, that they stayed around and waited for me to come and get them. They were 6 months old when I brought them home. If you are looking for medical care for your animals or looking to adopt I totally recommend stopping by here and getting to know the amazing staff. They do wonderful work and are really great people too.

Cannot rave about this cat clinic enough! The staff is incredibly knowledgable, helpful and stress relieving! They take pride in their work from the receptionists to the vet techs to the Doctors. I am so grateful to have found this clinic. I bring all three of my cats here and they are ALWAYS taken great care of. We also bring our dog and rabbit to the clinic attached and receive perfect care as well. Terry, Katie, Dom, Jennifer, Dr. Jansen and all other people in between- you are incredible!!! Thank you so much for keeping our family happy and healthy!!!!
