They need to get their act together when it comes to prescription food for pets. You give them a prescription that is good for a year. Why when they give you, Their prescription card to use when you check out, do they only give you the card for six months, And then you have to stand back in line to get the last six months. Why not give you their card for twelve months, like your vets prescription. So the card for the first six months that expired, all employees Know that that card is good for one year from the script issue date. Well not the employee, that was helping me! She said she couldn't find it in their computer system. I said look at the issue date, it's good for one year. Well I'm going to have to call your vet and then get them to fax a paper copy of a new prescription for your pet's food.???? So then I had to wait for her to do all that which was unnecessary. After all was said and done when she handed me the new prescription card, it was only for six months Again. Then she said, The card says it's good for six months, but it's actually good for a year from the issue date, at which time you can come back and get another six month card. Freaking really? DUH! That is exactly what I told her about the former card!! I don't know where she got her sudden revelation, because she was sitting there the whole time, and spoke to no one. ???? So she must have gotten it from me.

We recently had to have our much-loved pet cat Hannah put to rest. The Doctor and staff at Banfield in Woodstock were incredibly thoughtful and compassionate. It make a very difficult time for Hannah, and for us, much more bearable. Thank you!

Tired of being judged like I’m lying about heart worm medication because I won’t pay triple from them.

It was a bit confusing and slow registering customers

They are in no hurry. It is almost impossible to get them to do a prescription. I started calling at 9 when they opened and have continued to call up until they close. The lady I spoke with this morning had even asked “does he need this medication today” my reply was yes. You would think it was obvious when I have had to call almost every hour to find out status. At their close of business day still nothing. After explaining the situations urgency I was told “as soon as we hang up it will be done”, NEVER DONE. My dog has been going there for 2 years and I have had the wellness plan. After numerous visits to get his nails done done and being told he wouldn’t let them I should have found another vet. They care about money and not the wellness of your animal. The ONLY positive thing about that place is Dr. Bell she is amazing

Dropped my dogs off for a routine comprehensive visit. I called at curbside, was put on hold for 10 minutes, called back, and they said to wait and they would come out to get the dogs. After another 10 minutes I just took them inside- which is fine, I should've to begin with and saved the 20 minutes. . I was told I would receive a call when they were ready- which I never got. I went in before closing, picked them up and noticed as I was getting them in the car that one of them had dried feces on her fur, and backside. When we got home, they drank so much water so quickly- I doubt they were given any water all day. I dont blame the staff, they were so busy, they could not keep up. This is management and scheduling.

They take so many pets at once that my dogs comprehensive was 7.5 hours without any vaccines. My poor dog had waited to pee so long he couldn’t make it out the door. No conversation with the Dr just you can get him. For the almost $45 I spend a month it would be nice to feel like they actually care about your pet. We have been going for years but I really am losing faith in them

Have a new puppy that I took in for an evaluation. Front desk person was rude and unprofessional. The tech and Vet were nice enough but charging $46 for nothing is ridiculous. No shots or medicine or tests done... Just provided a long list of services they will provide for a huge few! Never going there again.

They were so nice, helpful and sincere. The vet gave great medical info on what is wrong and what steps to take to get my pet better. They were following guidelines to keep everyone safe. Very nice and caring crew. They worked with everyone with the same positive and nice attitude.

Great place for your pets. Saw a new Doctor this time for my cat. She looked over her previous bloodwork and saw that my cat may be diabetic. My previous Vet never mentioned anything at all to me about this! Dr. Durik, was personable, really showed caring towards my baby, and was very thorough! I highly recommend them for your fur baby!! I would rate them at about a 4.5, but the system wouldn’t allow me to do a half star. The only reason that they lost half a star to me was because sometimes with how busy they can get it seems chaotic! Even with the chaos though, I have zero complaints and both my baby, Athena and I are very happy with Dr. Durik and Banfield!

Banfield Hospital is just at the bottom of the barrel. The front desk is unfriendly and rude at times. They do not answer the phone even though the front is not busy. The back office is usually pretty good and Dr Bern was excellent. He is no longer here and we will not be after this visit. We subscribe to the wellness plan for two dogs. The front desk staff acts as if a walk in is impossible to see. We arrived today at at a 3:15 and were told they could not see our dog and that it's close to closing. Which by the way they close at 6 pm. We asked if they could at least ask the doctor to see him in between patients, as it was something that appears minor but was a serious issue in the past (a stye on his eye). They asked and said we could drop him off. We did not want to drop him off and said we would wait. We still have not even been acknowledged by the doctor that has been in and out of waiting area several times over the past two hours. It is 5:31 as I write this review and we are still waiting. Not even to speak and let us know something is just unacceptable. We will be canceling both of our wellness plans and taking our beloved pets somewhere else. I would not recommend banfield Woodstock.

Don't get a wellness plan. They don't tell you that you have to pay an outrageous cancelation fee.

Always professional, always kind and courteous to the animals. Gave me good advice while I had a sick animal on a Sunday afternoon that helped me help him instead of going to the emergency vet.

Let me start by saying the Doctors here seem to care but that's where the good things end at Banfield. You can NOT get an appointment for days even with an emergency. It's been like that for years and I will be bringing my fur baby to VCA where they can see your dog within 24 hours. It's sad when you speak to employees of this company and they willingly tell you that they overbooked. Focus more on quality and not quantity!

I took my pittie here HOPING that the ear infections and skin infection she had would go away. They ladies were very nice! However, I spent 200$ on some medication that's actually made my puppy worse. She wont stop scratching her ears. After the first 4 days she was fine for maybe 2 days. Its day 13 now and she has been scratching non stop again. I shouldnt have to keep paying hundreds of dollars for my pup to STILL be scratching. This is ridiculous
