Had my fiance take our dog there today because she got into a fight with our other dog and because she's a pitbull they immediately starting accusing her of being a fighting dog and said we needed to pay 1800 for her to have surgery and when we said we didn't have it they gave us antibiotics and pain meds and charged us 400.00 which is fine. But then they called the animal control on us and had them come to a welfare check on our other dogs, which we had nothing to hide but I think its just unprofessional of them to assume

Same day appointment. Thank you so much for getting my cat in. Our regular vet said I had to wait 10 days for an appointment. I'm not taking chances with my fur baby. Staff was amazing, we will be changing our vet ????

Danielle was phenomenal. Such professional service. Also I believe the other girl’s name is Katie. She had light brunette hair with a tattoo on her upper arm. These two girls are the reason I will come back here! They were so so wonderful and helped my dog who has major anxiety. Remarkable service from these girls!

Big THANKS for being open on Sundays!!! My dog was in a dog fight and suffered injuries and I couldn’t find anyone to take her except Macland Animal Hospital. I called the emergency vet hospital in Marietta and they said their work load was too heavy to help…then I called two more places and they said the same thing. (Short staffed due to covid). The staff at Macland Animal Hospital were friendly, professional and compassionate. If you are in the area and looking for vet please check them out!!

Sunday emergency appt went faultless. Great staff and problem solved. Recommended. Great for choice over cobb emergency clinic which folks are rude and services way to pricey. Thanks

After Hiram Animal Hospital failed my cat and led him to die painfully, I was desperate for a fantastic vet. I couldn't just settle with great. And so far, so fantastic! I had went to the Hiram Animal Hospital once and told them that my cats eyes were shaking, and they legitimately brushed it off and barely looked at his eyes. I come here, the vet turned off the lights and checked his eyes with that um... The tool that shines light in your eyes ???? The vet (amazing lady) also recommended a diet plan for my big girl and gave me joint supplements for her. It really just seems like the people here care a lot more. And the prices were your average prices for vets, I'd say. The place is also really well kept and smells great. Hiram Animal Hospital could NEVER compare. They also shaved a hair clump out of my very hairy boy for free. I appreciated that. I'm making this my go-to vet from now on.

It says on there website open on Sundays. Beware, we scheduled a Sunday regular yearly exam and they billed an additional $75 for a Sunday visit plus their over priced yearly visit at $160. Google average vet visit in our area, average $125. Thanks for padding your pockets!!!

This review is not to be malicious in any sense its truly an honest review.... I came to this place on Thursday afternoon because my maltipoo who was 11 years old, was having difficulty breathing and was having trouble sleeping because of a persistent honking cough. He was diagnosed at this office by Dr Mulupuri with tracheal collapse and heart disease... it was scary to hear that but he ran x-rays and a CBC and fecal exam all to make sure and verify. Which I understand you have to do that anytime even with people to diagnose something. He prescribed medication for my dog said that on a scale 1-10 for his heart disease he was at a 2 and for tracheal collapse the medication should help.. I left hopeful and relieved that my dog was going to be better in a couple days.. Thursday evening I gave him the medication as instructed and feed him chicken with some rice he ate it kept drinking plenty of water he still was coughing and having issues Thursday night to Friday he got worse no sleep kept moaning in pain I called Friday and told the receptionist that he's not doing any better I think he's worse having trouble breathing I don't know what to do ....... she said okay let me put you on hold and let the technician know.. after she got back on she said I'll write a note for the Dr. and later the technician or the Dr will give you a call back since right now we are busy. And that was it..... my Benji passed Friday evening.... I was hopeful that I would get help or a call back I put trust in this place as they were genuinely nice... but I don't understand how it went from being told the medicine would help and heart disease not being very bad to him passing!!!! I dont understand.... I will never bring any of my pets here again or respond to any calls from here as my dog has now passed and I have no reason to talk to anyone from here...

I’m a member of the armed forces and I am currently stationed in Hawaii. I was home for 2 weeks and was panicked when my dog had really bad problems with her ears. Macland animal hospital took me the next day first thing in the morning and Joanie was out of the vet in 45 minutes! It was honestly such a great experience. Definitely the go to vet from now on. Extremely great pricing as well.

Been using Dr. Sharomi for many years. Just so happened when I moved, this hospital was opening only 5 minutes away with our favorite dr! Great staff! With the newest processes, I feel like I get more for my money and I certainly appreciate that with 5 dogs! ???? Thank you!

My husband and I moved to the area during the pandemic, and we were reluctant to find a new vet because our pups were used to our old vet's office staff. However, I am SO GLAD we switched! I thought our previous vet was fantastic until transferring to Macland. They are so great with our babies. One of our pups has always been very timid and nervous, and this vet has done wonders for him already. I also love the extra personal touch they provide by calling the day after an appointment to check on them. Really outstanding customer service!

The vets at Macland are very informative about my pets, and take time to really explain their professional diagnosis and reasoning about my pets symptoms. I have two dogs and a cat that are patients at Macland. I never feel pressured to follow through with recommendations of labs or services - my choices are always respected with all possible treatment options throughly explored.

Since bringing our 2 sweet Miniature Dachshunds to Macland Animal we have felt so welcome and informed. They are very clear and up front with pricing and explaining the procedures they preform on them (if procedures are needed). Rosco and Kevin love coming!

When I got the news that my cat Otis needed PU surgery, I was pretty devastated. The ER vet that treated him told me they could do the surgery but it was very expensive, much more than I could afford. I started researching vets knowing I needed it done as soon as possible. I found Macland and gave them a call (on a Sunday!). They informed me that they could do the surgery for a much more affordable price which included boarding Otis for a week after the surgery. I was thrilled! When I brought him over they were able to accommodate him immediately and did the surgery less than 2 days later. I felt very welcome throughout the whole process. They called me twice a day updating me on how he was doing through the recovery and even sent me pictures! I could tell they really cared about taking care of him and it really showed. Vet care is expensive but Macland's team makes it worth every penny. I live in midtown ATL but Macland was 100% worth the drive. Dr. David and Courtney and the whole team are very professional and took such great care of us, I am recommending them to all of my friends with pets who need veterinary care. Thank you all so much! -Peyton and Otis

We purchased our puppy from the WRONG place ( the nicest way to say it) and within 40 hours, he had a 106 degree fever and pneumonia. Our little Auggie almost died. If it wasn't for Macland Animal Hospital, our little guy would not be with us anymore. They held the previous owner accountable, communicated with me through every step, and treated him with amazing care. The professionalism continues as he goes for groomings and checkups and we are eternally grateful.

I have took my fur baby Rosie to them twice now and with how my fur baby came out with smiles and enthusiastic I’d recommend them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Her Dr was very helpful and gave great care to her during her first visit that she was actually eager when I took her for her next appointment. I’m thankful to them for all there kindness and care.

The staff was really nice and patient with us. As first time dog owners, we did not know what to expect with our new fur baby’s care. The facility was clean, the staff was supportive, and the veterinarian was knowledgeable and welcoming. I have to also say I was impressed with the cleanliness and great smelling lobby!

We recently adopted 3 puppies during the pandemic. Yes, a little over the top but that is how we do things. ???? The folks at Macland Animal Hospital are so friendly and helpful.
