We switched our pets here last year after I lost a pet unexpectedly at Spanish Trail Vet, which I would recommend against. It was the 2nd pet my family lost unexpectedly while in their care. Dr. Liz was great but just doesn't have enough experience yet. We have really enjoyed Gull Point, it's the difference between a money factory(Spanish Trail Vet) and an economical animal hospital that knows what they're doing. They have a very high quality of care and extremely fair pricing. The doctor appears to have a lifetime of experience caring for animals, and will take the extra time to explain things do you understand. As far we experienced there are no weird rules about being with your animal during the visit(due to covid). We are so happy to have found a place close to home that can be there for our animals.

Through the good and bad of having pet problems. There is no one else I would trust 15 years of great service

Excellent reception and timely. Veterinarian was extremely knowledgeable and treated us - the humans - as well as the kitten. Very good approach!

My doggy LeChe' got hurt jumping through the screen door. I called Gull Point Animal hospital and they took LeChe the next day to see Dr. Ernest. Dr. Ernest said LeChe was paralyzed. He gave me three medicines and one steroid shot for Leche" and he only charged me $89.00 can you believe that. Well-- LeChe is much better and he is walking, running and playing now. Although. he still has a problem lifting his leg to do his business but atleast my little baby is getting better every day. Took Leche' back for a follow-up and I was not charged. Can you believe that! What a great place and what a great doctor.

I used them a few years back they were very good then recently they were very rude to me I paid a deposit for something and then I called to make a apt and asked if the deposit could go to my bill she basically said I never paid a deposit but I found my bank statement then the doctor called me and was rude and said I don't wanna help you or your pet.

We called several different places to see whom could fit us in on a short notice. Our rottie was not acting herself. This was our first visit and we were highly impressed and left feeling better about our dog. They did not try to push or upsell any items or service that was not needed. I suspect his diagnosis was accurate and thorough as he took some time with us and our dog. She was already showing signs of improvement by this evening.

Dr.Earnest Is a wonderful vet ,has done really amazing ear croppings for are doberman puppys and always goes out of his way to help you .I would definatly reccomend going to gulf point animal hospital with all your veterinarian needs .He does amazing work ,also his staff is always so so nice and always calls and checks on your furry friends after your surgery visit such a wonderful place .We have also boarded are Dobermans there and they do such wonderful care with are animals Will never go anywhere else .He is 10 stars and above .????

Best doctor ever!!! We have two cats and a dog and the service we received was awesome. We had one cat that was hit by a car when she got out, the doctor and his team were so loving and caring not just to Miss-Fu but to us and I would not change Dr. Earnest for any other doctor. I would highly recommend him????

I take my dogs and cats here and have had equally amazing experiences every visit. I may be a little of a paranoid pet mom and yet the doctor and staff listen to all concerns, answer all questions, and seem to love my babies (almost) as much as I do. They have even called after visits to follow up and check on my animals. My animals seem at ease and are never upset for a trip to the vet and hardly notice getting shots, and the doc always has great techniques and information to share to make things at home easier too! It's obvious these people love what they do and we appreciate them!

Always so kind to my animals I would reccomend them to anyone.

Visited Gull point for the first time today with my CAT. The entire staff was wonderful. The vet was kind to both me and my cat. We actually made another appointment for the following week. Great experience and we will be using Gull Point animal hospital from now on.

Had an amazing experience here. My sister recommended I take both my cat and dog here. Took my dog first and was so impressed took my car the following week. Vet was so good with both animals. Actually taught me new ways to hold both animals to make giving them medicine easier and trimming nails. Usually my dog needs to be muzzled to trim his nails, he was not muzzled here and showed no signs of aggression at all towards any of the staff. I’d recommend to anyone that has fur babies!! Definitely will be our permanent vet.

Dr. Ernest is always so kind to our dog, and she gives him hugs to reciprocate.

Fast service, a quiet environment for the most part

Walked in as a possible new client because of the good reviews... Heard some dude (I guess the manager) yelling at an employee. She left crying... I walked out. I have a friend that said they throw cats around there also. I mean I don’t mind if people throw cats because I don’t really care for them, but I don’t want them to throw my dog. Dogs don’t land on their feet like cats. The employees up front seemed very uncomfortable about the girl running out crying. Very uncomfortable place. Can you imagine that mean guy (nice way of saying it) sticking your pets with needles?

Not sure why this place is rated 4.7. The vet there seems pretty loopy and doesn't seem like he even enjoys working with animals. He Did not even do a full exam on my dog but charged us for it and also kept talking to my boyfriend and I like we were idiots. Will not be back.

Great hospital, with a doctor that really cares! :)

Veterinarian was sarcastic. Wanted me to buy something did not need. He has a attitude problem. Will not go back there.

We brought our dog to this Vet in hopes of finding a kind doctor to address a skin problem. Zero bedside manner... Zero respect to the client. Bad attitude. Even raised his voice at myself and my mother. Needless to say we picked our dog up off the examination table and walked out. I have two rescue dogs and three rescue cats. I have been dealing with Vets for 40 years. This was by far the most disrespectful man I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend if you have any self respect and love your animals DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Even the Vet Tech was embarrassed by the Vet's behavior and attitude. Hands down the worst Vet encounter. NEVER GOING BACK!

This is an excellent vets office. My doberman had her ears done here and I use Dr Ernest as her vet as well. She loves him and his staff . Excellent caring vet center!

I take my grandmother's dog here about once a month. It recently had surgery there as well and they are very good with people and animals. Always super nice and friendly!

Dr. Earnest is the best Veterinarian I've ever been to..He's very kind & gentle & my pit bull love's him!

Edit: I find it interesting how you “have no record of me as a client” yet you had my first review where I explained in detail why I was leaving it removed and after I was able to leave this one (just a star with no description), the vet personally called me and asked why I was leaving it and got upset when I wouldn’t change it. This is the tactic you now choose to use to try and avoid a negative review. This behavior truly reflects my visit and the way you treated my pet. Edit 2: Dr. Ernest is the one who THREW my cat and spoke to me on the phone so I am positive I have the right place but keep sticking to that story when you have other reviews saying the same thing. I also save all of my receipts for my taxes so if you’d like I can post those and your respose to your Yelp page.
