Called all day and got no answer. Left a message to schedule an appointment for my cat several times and no return phone call

Love the facility and the team members rock..Our furbabies are very comfortable with all the staff.

A difficult day was made much easier by compassionate and caring professionals.

Edit: June 25, 2021 They have moved to Calera. Since my first review, I have gotten both my cat and dog spayed here. I will also be getting them both chipped here in the future as well. ______________________________ Just starting taking my animals here and so far they have been great. I decided to switch my animals over to this clinic because I had heard such great things. The clinic I was previously using supposedly doesn’t have a good reputation. Happy with where I am now. Let everyone know if that changes! Edit: Their Dr hours are different than their open hours. So call to make sure drs are there or learn the dr hours before you drive out there.

Customer service is excellent. My animals are comfortable with the Vets and tech's. Prices are comparable to other vets i have used in the area. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I wanted to say that the folks at MAC were so caring as we had to put our Peek-a-Poo of 15 years down. They explained everything and gave us comfort that we made the right decision and that we were doing what was best for our TJ... Thank You.

They were fast to assess my four legged friend. The vet spoke to me himself. They were able to explain what needed to be done and an estimate if the cost of treatment. And they did all of that after-hours!

I miss the staff that was at the Montevallo location! I called to let the receptionist know that my mother was bringing in her dog (I have always brought her dog for her) so the dogs information was under my name, I let her know that she needed her yearly shots and proheart shot. Her response was “we see too many patients to remember that”. I responded with I understand but my mother normally doesn’t bring her I do and she said “yea but we are a walk in clinic”. I understand clientele has grown but I have been coming to this clinic for the last 15 years and this would of never been a problem before. I miss the old staff members that knew me and my pets by name.

I spent a grand total of 4 hours waiting for my puppy to get shots. 4 hours. After being told twice that I was next, I watched them come out and take 2 more animals, and proceeded to make me wait another hour. She is only 9 weeks old, she cannot get out of the car to pee at the vet as she may get sick, so she peed in the car instead. Don't go here if you have anything else to do with your time, as you won't get anything done. Great vet, very unprofessionally ran business.

Clientele is loyal here, they're frequently busy and it's because they're good at what they do and affordable. I drive the extra mile to come here. They have helped my fur babies with just about everything: vaccines, medications, shampoos, surgeries, and cremation. Only downfall is the wait time.

They moved to north Camera. Above walmartat light on 70 and 31 on left.

Very sweet staff. They offer options to you. Listen and are very caring. They all got together and got and wrote in a card and it to me by mail when I had my baby girl put to sleep.

I absolutely could never have asked for a better staff of people. By far the most caring I've encountered.

Terrible experience! My pet chihuahua had been having some stomach issues and started to have blood in his stool. My wife and I were in a panic because of the seriousness of the situation. We checked online to see what Montevallo Animal Clinic’s hours were and proceeded to drive from Alabaster. I arrived at 11:40 on a Friday and they turned me away telling me that they were about to go on a two and a half hour lunch break and that they would not be able to see me until after 2pm. I expressed the seriousness of our situation so the receptionist asked the doctor if they could make an exception. They came back and told me that there was no way they could see me until after 2pm. I told them how frustrated I was because there was nothing on their website about shutting down for over two hours to take lunch and the receptionist’s response was “I know the website isn’t accurate but I don’t make the changes to the website- you will have to come back after 2pm”.

This is a very great animal hospital.

Wonderful staff and exceptional care for my dogs.

It had been a while since we had been to the vet. They were verynice and informative about what our animals needed and didnt. Very sweet to the animals. I saw someone come out and get a dog. The dog was so excited to see her. Thats a good sign. They also gave me info about bording. We need to bord but was uneasy about it. We will be bording there

The best place to take your animals. Vets are very gentle with them and listen to the owners. I have been using Montevallo clinic since 1990.

This place is the epitome of quality and valuable care. They actually tell you how it is instead of just trying to suck money out of you. They give you all the info you need and dont leave you hanging to dry. There probably will be a wait just because they are caring for so many animals but it is well worth it. I live an hour away and only trust serious things with this clinic.

Dr. Parker is amazing! The staff are super sweet!
