They wouldn't help me! I had to go to main St animal in Roanoke Al that's the place to go main Street animal hospital

Wow...cannot say enough good about this veterinarian. From the staff to the doctor, they go out of their way to make sure that they focus on your pet's health with amazing followup.

Four Paws has a very curious staff with exceptional Veterinarian. Keeps excellent background knowledge for your pet. They have an app that you can download and see all information on your pet and when is the next time your pet needs flea medicine and what time for their next shots or any medication. Overall a great vet to use but they do not treat birds or other reptiles. Will need to call and see what pets they also treat other than cats and dogs. They do board your pets while you are on vacation or Holiday.

Dr. Whitlow is the Greatest! ???? My family has used him since, Four Paws opened. The staff are very friendly and caring.

They are always amazing. Dr. Whitlow and his caring staff have gone above and beyond for us with ALL of our animals! My entire family uses him as a vet & they have truly saved some lives, literally!! I called to make an appointment for my cat and was met with a very annoyed sounding woman. I asked how much it would be to have a cat seen for an eye infection and was met with a heavy sigh and an abbreviated sounding lady who smirks me she didn’t know offhand and that it would depend on the things that were done for her and medications needed. I said okay, could I get the price for a basic exam? She said “Hold please,” and left me in hold for over ten minutes before I finally hung up. I found this rude and unprofessional. How on Earth do you not know how much it is to bring a cat in to be looked at before any care is given? And why leave someone on hold for that long? Surely it doesn’t take that long to find out. If this is how they treat their prospective clients, I can only imagine how they treat the animals. They won’t be getting any business from me, that’s for sure.

I would not go to any other vet I have had an emergency in the middle of the night called and they had me come immediately the dr beat me there very caring and friendly staff love them

I was new to the area and of course had an emergency late Saturday night with one of my animals. A quick review online led me to this facility as the "best around" and "call for after hour emergencies" so I gave it a shot. Within minutes I was on the phone with the Dr Whitlow who, not only was super polite given the hour of his weekend, but clearly great with people as he quickly diffused my worry and anxiety for my pet, assured me she was ok and it's actually something he'd been seeing recently and was able to direct me how to care for her and ease her discomfort via phone without incurring the cost of an emergency visit (at my choice based on her symptoms). He also got me in first thing when he reopened to have her seen in person just to be sure she was on the mend. As a first introduction to him and his facility I was beyond happy with expectations exceeded. I am a fur mom to many pets and he certainly won my business with that phone call. Anytime I call this facility the staff is warm and welcoming, which I can not say for the last two places I had been. When I was updating shots and a booster was required in a specific time frame, despite their schedule being booked for the month, they found a space to fit him in to be sure he stayed up to date. I have previously experienced vets too busy who wouldn't even make this effort forcing me to use 2 different vets transferring records back and forth so this is a true blessing to me. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Four Paws and as long as we live in this area Dr Whitlow will be our vet. As a pet owner of 3 dogs & 4 cats, I highly recommend this business!

Although I was dismayed that they wouldn't let me in to be with my brand new 6week old puppy, they did try the best they could to make me feel better and accommodate me. They set an exam table up in front of the glass front doors and did the exam there and had me on speaker phone, so that I could be there and see what was going on.

Very unprofessional doctor with major anger management issues. If you've had a dog die in his care or come home with a broken bone or damaged tail...press on and file complaints. I wouldn't ever trust them again with any of my beloved babies behind closed doors.
