Don't like not being able to stay with my pet during exam. Especially if they have separation anxiety.

I just want to say that I am a truck driver and my puppy got really sick and they took her right in and even offered to wash my blankets that she messed all over.. I am very pleased with this place. Way better then the one where we live in reno nevada.. staff is even polite and helpful.. and let me park my truck and trailer in the parking lot here.. thank you..

The last time I took my sweet cat to the vet (a Banfield location in a different state), they called and told me they couldn't work on her because she was getting too fiesty. Then they actually chastised me about not drugging her with lots of gabapentin before bringing her in (we'd never had a problem before!). They ended up keeping her for 8 hours "waiting for her to calm down" and their attitude about the whole thing was really negative and disappointing. All that to say I went into this Hoover location a bit nervous, explained that she was nervous too, etc. And everyone was **so sweet** and considerate, and they took care of her and even said how good and calm she was! They let me wait in the lobby and brought her out as soon as they were done so she could wait on results with me nearby. I don't know what those last folks were doing but the team here put us both at ease. It's so nice when vets and vet techs react kindly and enthusiastically to your pet because you know they're in good hands. Huge relief and will definitely be back!

I love ???? Banfield they will make SURE you know about your baby's appt. So you can make it. They always greet you with a smile. They always give you a detailed explanation of what's going on with your baby when something extra has to be done and they help you decide what's best not what's most expensive. They are so great.

My pets absolutely love banfield pet hospital. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. My furry friends know when they are going to the pet perfectionist!

I get that everyone needs to make money and that a vet is a business but if they could make it less like they are milking people for every dime they can get with 0 empathy, I still wouldn't ever go back but maybe they wouldn't look so sleazy at least.

My experience was very satisfied, I was well informed about our dogs, we have 3! I learned something today I didn't know, if your animal child has heartworms, they are not allowed in the grooming area!

A bit pricey, but also took us as a walk in. I am a professional driver and choose a wellness plan for JuJu. Considering the amount of travel we do Banfield always seems to make time for JuJu no matter the state or town we end up in. Highly recommend the wellness plans to any with four legged co-drivers.

Dr. Early is awesome!!! He has been the Vet for our pets, for years, and is a very dedicated, respectful, knowledgeable, professional, and caring Vet. The entire team also is excellent. Thanks!!!!

I give 3 stars because I love 2 of the vets here. Dr. Early is the best and the other vets name escaped me at the moment. I've been bringing my yorkipoo here for 6 years and it seems like there is ALWAYS a miscommunication when it comes to his comprehensive exam. Either I make an appointment and he can be done within an hour or I make an appointment and it takes 4 or 5 hours. When I ask beforehand to see so I know how to plan the day (since I drive almost an hour to even bring him) I expect the person I spoke with to know what they're talking about. I've even had to cancel an appointment before after driving up here because it was going to take the entire day to get a pets comprehensive exam done and I couldn't do that. I'm pretty over all the miscommunication and ready to switch to a vet closer to home.

I love the vets here! We have 5 pets and they are amazing with each one! Dr. Lehman is so incredibly sweet and caring.

Very nice & professional people

The Banfield staff and on staff Veterinarians saved my new Dachshund puppy that I purchased 2 days earlier to learn he had The Parvo Virus. He was only 7 weeks old and caught early by the Vet and he was able to fully recover from the Virus. The staff was so caring and had my puppy best interest at heart. They truly love the animals in which care for and it shows through their Amazing customer service!! I will only have my new puppy seen at The Banfield location, which is located in The Pet Smart in Hoover, Alabama

My cat had a UTI and he nearly died because of Banfield's negligence or perhaps misdiagnose. Banfield was good when he was getting routine check-ups and getting neutered - but if your cat is ill go somewhere else. Nice people but I cannot forgive the fact that my cat almost died. My neighbors and I all switched over.

My kitten had her first visit here last week. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. They listened well and I felt my cat was in good hands. The vet made sure she explained everything well to me. Definitely recommend!

Took my cat to them because he was having trouble urinating. Spent $400 getting several things done. They said he was fine. A few days later he started acting really sick. To him to a different place. They said he has a blockage and needs a catheter and to stay for a couple of days. May need a special diet. None of this was said to us at Banfield. Not to mention, they are obviously told to up-sell. Take your pet LITERALLY anywhere else.
