Extremely toxic work environment, former co-workers frequently took pills meant for animals and smoked pot on the clock. Kennel help frequently kicks and shouts at animals and leaves them outside unattended or in pouring rain.

I absolutely love this animal clinic. Dr. Lamb is one of the best veterinarians in Birmingham. He has been around for a long time. He took the time to explain everything that's going of with my dog, remembered after just meeting us once, quick to get appointments scheduled definitely recommend ????????

Adopted a dog they had received. Picked up after she was fixed. She was not clean, still had dead fleas on her backside and under chin when I bathed her because she kept scratching. Very irritated skin all over belly and groin from shaving for fixing. Never spoke with a Vet regarding anything they did or knew about her. Right eye looks very cloudy with some type of discharge and now I'll have to deal with the eye problem. They wrote in my paperwork she is 10, which I never knew but is okay with me. They sure did not clean her up for a proper adoption which pisses me off.

My dog is usually nervous around other ppl, but he and I both loved Dr. Lamb. He was gentle with my pup and explain the shots my dog needed in detail as well as recommended procedures that would aid in my dogs health. He was very nice.

Dr. Lamb is amazing. I have been to countless vets in Birmingham and Vulcan Park Animal Care is where I will stay. The staff is very friendly to the me and my pets and are very reassuring in stressful situations. They are extremely responsive to phone calls and it is easy to get a quick appointment with them. They were also very affordable for being such a nice clinic! I would recommend Dr. Lamb to anyone looking for a new vet.

Sweet folks. Found a momma cat with her litter in Homewood. Took them in and staff was great. Came back a week later and one of the litter had already found her furrever home!

We went to this vet for 1+ year while we lived in the Homewood area. Our lil pup has a sensitive stomach so I feel like we visited quite a lot (especially because she was only 8 weeks went she started going to them). The staff at Vulcan Park was AMAZING every time. From scheduled visits to last minute appointments, they were always so wonderful and attentive. There were multiple instances where they went above and beyond for our little girl! Sad that moving from the area means we hadave to switch vets. We will miss the kindness of the staff and we will ALWAYS appreciate them as her first vet!

I came to Vulcan Park Animal Care with a sick python and saw Dr. Lamb. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful in answering all my questions and prescribing a course of treatment. We've had 3 visits so far during the course of treatment and the staff are always friendly. The rates are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be coming here for all my exotic animals in the future!

Dr. Lamb takes care of my 2 dogs and is wonderful. He is thorough, gentle and kind. When my younger dog needed stitches for a bite wound, Dr. Lamb took really good care of him, saw him that day, and patched him right up. I'm so glad to have Dr. Lamb as our vet.

I had a injured bird and they took him in for free

My cat got sick in late Nov-early Dec and was very sick for 3 weeks. I had taken her to a different vet that cost hundreds and they mentioned how hard she was to manage. Vulcan seemed to handle her just fine and were very kind and gentle with her. They were thorough, got her a diagnosis, put a focus on her being comfortable and healthy, and ultimately were very kind and patient with me as well because I did, unfortunately, have to let my cat go... I really appreciate all the nice staff during such a horrible time. Putting my cat down was incredibly hard but they did all they could to help us and I really appreciate it.
