All of the staff here were extremely nice, helpful, and genuinely concerned about my sweet baby, a 13 week old puppy named Emmy. Although, I thought the pricing was a little bit high, I did like how they came to us with a treatment plan and it's cost before we needed to make a decision on anything. It was very nice of them to to also educate us a little bit about things to watch for and be concerned about. All in all, I would definitely say we had a very positive experience here.

Our Bassett puppy broke out in an awful rash (bumps all over, gunky ears, clearly uncomfortable) on a Sunday night and we called them and told them what was happening and they told us to come on in. When we got there we were pretty much told they didn’t work with any skin conditions (after they told us to come in and we drove almost an hour). Our puppy was given Benadryl and an antibiotic and they told us to pretty much wait it out until our regular vets office was open. After the shots we were given an estimated cost of $135 and then we were charged $235. None of this helped and our puppy came home with us still miserable. They were basically no help. Definitely do not recommend.

Go during the week during work hours so it's not really busy. The office is very nice. The doctor didn't tell me anything new, just that I could see an Ortho if I wanted. My vet sent me here to see an ortho, but I was told I had to see an ER doc before in order for them to refer me. She kept getting confused on the time frame of my dog's injury, too. I had to tell her multiple times and we still ended with her saying the injury was in 2016 and not Nov 2021. Overall, it wasn't a complete waste. She gave me a different antibiotic to see if that would help and it seems like it has. I have plenty more to say, but I don't care to type it all out.

They were awesome. Poor Sadie was hit by a car. She ended up not making it but this place is so loving and caring.

I would Never recommend this Vet. Dr. Laura A. in their emergency services aggressively pushed for surgery without offering other options for a hyperextended ligament. She showed me none of the X-rays they took and did not want to discuss any other options than surgery. I spoke with Auburn orthopedic expert the next day after he reviewed the X-rays and he said surgery was not needed. Only splint and crate rest for 6 weeks. Be Warned. Do not go to VSB.

The individuals at this place don't care about your pet. They are only trying to get as much money from you as possible. It's capitalism at its finest. If it's at all possible, take your fur babies somewhere else.

Dr. Kuhn, the veterinary Ophthalmologist, is friendly, thorough, and careful (not too aggressive) in her treatment recommendations.

Very clean, helpful staff. A little hard to find; turn off hwy 280 as if you were going to Whataburger/ FedEx. It's down that road, on the right. GPS got us there all right.

My Yorkie was having severe problems so I took her here for treatment. The staff was so wonderful, empathetic but still professional. My baby wound up having to be euthanized, which was a gut-wrenching blow, but the entire staff was SO accommodating and sweet. They allowed me to wait until my family arrived to say goodbye, they weren't pushy or rushed, it was nice. All of the costs, while high, were discussed up front in a very low-pressure manner. The tech named Anna was ESPECIALLY sweet, understanding and helpful. They definitely helped make the best of a bad situation, and I'm very grateful.

I have never written a review for a business but felt very strongly about this one. Do not recommend this place at all. Worst experience I’ve ever had in regards to veterinary care and we have several dogs who have all had surgeries/emergency visits for various things. Our dog got sick very quickly and we discovered he had a pleural effusion at our local vets office and they sent us to VSB urgently to have it tapped. Our vet had warned us that this is typically due to cancer. So of course I was overwhelmed and upset by the time I got there. And the front office girls were so rude. We saw a vet (the only person we had a positive experience with there) who recommended they keep him with no intervention or testing through the weekend and do some tests on Monday. We ultimately decided not to pay $2000 for them to babysit him in a kennel all weekend. My husband (who was out of town) called to see if he could ask a few additional questions and the front office girl was so rude and hung up on him when he asked if he could speak to the vet. We decided to go ahead and get some fluid pulled off to be tested and take him home for the weekend. The vet assured us we would have results for the test within a few days. The test alone was almost $400 and we never received results. The Monday following our weekend visit, a woman called from their office and asked “how’s your dog?” then hung up the phone before I even finished answering her question. No doubt we were just a bullet point on her tasks to do for the day. All of this to say, I can’t speak for the vets because the one we saw was friendly and compassionate but their staff is HORRIBLE and that can really make/break an experience.

They were great. The only thing that could have made them better was if they would have fixed my baby. I just could not afford 6k.

Had to take our 2yr old great dane there due to antifreeze poisoning. The dr and staff were amazing! I stayed home and at 3 am the dr got on the phone with me to explain everything! He was beyond caring! Our option was to put him down or spend thousands so we opted to lay him to rest. We had him cremated and we picked him up in a beautiful wooden box with his name etched on it. They were all wonderful and showed the best care!

Lots of people including human emergent care clinics work on Sunday. $325 for an exam and a couple of generic prescription is absolutely taking advantage of the situation. We didn’t get a good answer and we’re actually told what not to let our vet do high - our vet is a faculty member at a premier veterinary college. Audacity. I really feel like we were completely taken advantage of because it was Sunday morning we weren’t listened to and basically had to go because we were panicked but if we had had another choice we would’ve taken it I don’t recommend this to anyone

We were very concerned we were about to lose my baby girl (7yo Golden retriever, Tela) a couple of months ago. Dr B fixed her up and got her on the right medication. She went from us having to tube feed her directly into her stomach to eating on her own and gaining all her weight back, plus a little extra. She no longer needs the feeding tube and she’s back to getting to act like a dog again. We never imagined such a drastic turnaround, much less as quickly as she was all healed up. Worth every penny (and it was A LOT of pennies)!
