Have used the pawns pet resort since December 2017 for our four cats and I have never been displeased. Couple times to board and also to freshen up. The staff are definitely pet lovers and it shows. Always accommodating to our last minute plans. Location is perfect for living downtown as well as when we lived on Highland Ave

Picked up my daughter’s dog and everything seemed well kept.

We've used Pawms - Avondale to board our dog (Bo) multiple times now. Everyone I've talked to who works there has always been very kind and professional. It is obvious that they care about the animals who stay there. When Bo had to take daily heartworm treatment medication, they listened and made sure they had all the instructions written down. They are also very fast and efficient during drop-off/pick-up. Bo always seems excited to go there and he is always happy/healthy when we pick him up. It's so reassuring to have a reliable place to take care of your pet when going out of town. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

LOVE this place! They always take such great care of my dog and I don’t feel worried or anxious leaving her here for boarding/daycare. She always comes home wiped out from having so much fun, and not to mention always smells so good and looks so clean after having a bath here. Would highly recommend!

Wonderfully kind and attentive team with a personal touch, by far the best group in Birmingham. I've trusted them with taking care of my fur babies from daycare and baths to long term boarding while on holiday. Friendly, clean, professional, and all around great experience.

Excluding baths, I don’t think I’ll use them for grooming anymore but my pup seems to love the overnight stays!

My dog Daisy was put on a new medicine and while she was at Pawms had a seizure, I was out of town and had no way to get home, when I got the call from them I was panicked. The staff went above and beyond to help Daisy and once I had arranged for her to be taken to a 24/7 veterinary clinic the staff personally took her and her belongings there. I was terrified but the Pawms kept in contact with me all day, had my dog been somewhere else she might not be here. Thank you so so much Pawms Avondale!

Staff is super friendly and my dog is always over the moon to go to doggie daycare. This location is super busy and can’t often take walk-ins but no biggie as we always book our days ahead. If you can’t get in at the Avondale location, call the Birmingham branch.

I love The Pawms Pet Resort because they love my dogs! The entire staff is so personable & friendly my dogs get more excited to go here than the pet store. Their positive reactions give me so much peace of mind when I'm away from my fur children. The best part is they come back home clean, happy and worn out from a good time. This doggy daycare has exceeded my expectations! Highly recommended.

We boarded a 5 yr old rescue who has never been boarded or separated from anyone he knows for more than a day. Although he was super anxious and timid, they took him in and made him feel comfy and at home. Grateful for all they do. Highly suggested!!! Friendly, caring staff. Thank you from Onyx!
