Finding a great vet that legitimately cares about your animals can be tough. They are thorough, patient, and understanding of last minute problems that happen. You aren’t treated as an inconvenience. After the visit, they follow up multiple times and make sure everything is going well.

The people that work here are beyond helpful and nice! They take great care of my pups! They also have boarding which is awesome for when I can't take my buddies on the plane.

MMAH staff and especially Dr. Lamb are amazing! We are new to Auburn, but they made us feel comfortable the moment we stepped in the door. Dr. Lamb has diagnosed and treated an advanced heart condition and testicular tumor in my aging Pomeranian. Both dreadful diagnoses were handled with the upmost compassion, an effective plan, and personal follow-up from Dr. Lamb herself. Even their vet techs are exceptionally knowledgeable – Korenia and MiChaela caught an abnormality during a grooming bath… just all around incredible care! If you want the very best for yours, choose Moores Mill!

I took my Gus in today to have his dry skin addressed. He is so skiddish and scared of the vet but they made it such a positive experience! The nurse and doctor were so nice and knowledgeable. I will 100% be taking him back to MMAH! Thank you again nurse Tori and doctor adkinson????

I came to Moores Mill on a whim needing my dogs boarded for a weekend when everyone in Columbus, GA was booked. When I entered to drop my three girls off, I just knew this would be our new vet. The staff was extremely nice, answered every question I had, and you just get a good vibe when entering the door. A few months later, I set up an appointment for my oldest to be seen for a hematoma. Dr. Lamb went above and beyond at our appointment. She took one look at Presley and actually wanted to help me with all the other issues I’ve had with her her whole life. Presley’s allergies and skin have always been pushed to the side at every other vet. Dr. Lamb wanted to help me make her less miserable. We’ve dealt with chronic ear infections for 8 years; Dr. Lamb wanted to help make my baby’s ears not hurt. And above all, a growth on Presley’s lip that 6 vets have put on the back burner telling me it was just a fatty tumor and to not worry about it, Dr. Lamb assured me that it needed to be removed immediately. Because I put all my trust in Dr. Lamb, I probably get more time with Presley than I would have had I let the growth stay. That same growth, that multiple vets put on the back burner, was cancer. Something that could have easily taken her from me. For that simple reason alone, I can never thank Dr. Lamb and her staff enough???? Coming across Moores Mill was by chance, but it was the absolute best chance I’ve ever taken. I can honestly say I recommend this animal hospital and will continue to recommend to every single person I know. I drive an hour to get there now, and I’d drive 12 just to know that my babies are getting the top tier care they deserve.

I really want to like this place. The actual docs have been super nice each time I’ve been there and walked me through the whole process of having a new puppy very well. However, my dog will never return to this place again. I’ve boarded my dog here 5 total times. The 1st time she seemed skinny when I picked her up, but there was no way for me to know how much food she got because I dropped off a whole bag. Because of this I started measuring out exactly what she would need for each stay. The 2nd stay went fine. The 3rd stay was for 3 days, she was eating 6 cups of food per day, and I dopped off 18 cups of food. This time again she was noticeably skinnier, and they gave me back 6 cups of food, which let me know that they only fed her twice per day instead of 3 times like I asked. A whole day’s worth of food that she didn’t get in a 3-day period. I checked before the 4th stay if it would be better to do 3 cups twice per day to make sure she got her food, and for a 7 day stay, everything was fine. I just picked her up today for her 5th and last stay. She now eats 7 cups of food per day, so I told them 3.5 cups twice per day. The person that took her from the car noted that I still feed 3 times per day, but to make sure she got her food, she wrote 3.5 cups on the page. Again, she was noticeably skinnier, and I was given back 8 cups of food. They showed me the boarding page with a sticker that said 3 cups twice per day. I pointed out the fact that it said 3.5 cups on the other sheet. Even if they fed 3 cups each time, I would have received back 4 cups of food from a 4 day stay. Not 8 cups of food. I will never go back to this place and can’t ever possibly recommend for anyone else to go there either.

Always thankful for the amazing care our dog receives at MMAH! When she needed to stay for treatment over the weekend, we got daily updates on her health and demeanor. It was such a reassurance knowing she was in the hands of staff and vets who truly care both about the animal and the owners’ peace of mind!

This place is amazing! You will feel cared about from the moment you step in the door. I’m new to Auburn and was so frustrated trying to find a vet who would listen to me about my cat & his unique medical needs. He was suffering by the time I found this place! The doctor immediately tried what I had begged other vets to try. This place understood that while my education isn’t in medicine, I know my pets. I know what has worked and what hasn’t. They trusted me and that helped me trust them. My cat had 106.4 fever by the time I found Moore’s Mill and they had him feeling so much better in just 24 hours. They also do not overcharge for anything! Prices were extremely fair. You will not regret going to this place. I will be going to them for all of my fur family’s medical needs and immunizations. You’ll be glad to have chosen this place! Take it from a picky feline rescuer and dog lover.

We love this place! The staff is sorry friendly and helpful. Since COVID you can't go in, but they cover right to your car and take care of everything there. And our dog loves to be boarded here for trips.

A family member recommended this vet’s office based on their wonderful experiences. I have loved everything about this office and their staff. My cat had a thyroid issue and later an eye tumor and, in both cases, Dr. Ware helped me through the problems with knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. My cat lived to be 20 years old and so much of that is due to their help. All of my coworkers and friends also use this vet office and all us are so pleased.

During pandemic, assistants come to car to pick up dog. Never have to get out of the car. Have been using this vet for many years. Have great confidence in Dr. Puckett. Office staff great.

As far as I am concerned, these people are superheroes. They were there for us during the worst period of our lives when our cat of 11 years got sick. We ultimately had to put her down and the kindness and dignity they showed both us and our cat was incredible. Now we are taking a new cat to them and that same professionalism and kindness is on display. Will never go anywhere else.

I just recently started going to Moore’s Mill after moving to Auburn for graduate school. They have been SO great and responsive and always check up on my dog. I highly recommend Moore’s Mill Animal Hospital!

Beautiful service, they throughly enjoy taking care of your animal, every time I come up there with my lil cerberus they love on him and he's so excited to see any of the vet techs in grey scrubs. They are also very fast and thorough with the appointment.

I have been taking my cats here for over 2 years now, and I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Poole and the other staff members are always so kind and knowledgeable. They are so sweet to my cats, too. I could never go anywhere else!

Dr. Lamb and the staff are awesome and treated my little family member great. Couldnt be happier with the service and care of my K-9 family member. **addition/revision** My 7 week old puppy had an accident, I called M.M.A.H. and was advised to bring him in right away. When I pulled in the parking lot, there was a staff member waiting to grab my puppy and rush him inside. After waiting a little, Dr. Lamb came out to give me an update. She advised what she found, what procedures were done, what measures were taken to stabilize my K-9 and what my next steps were. She advised that he needed to be transfered to Auburn Animal Hospital. She told me exactly where to go and that she was sending over his records and everything she found and did today. Most importantly she gave me peace of mind that she had seen a lot worse and was confident with the round the clock care and oxygen cage at Auburn he would make a complete recovery.
