Dog Lovers Boarding Acworth, Alabama

We were so glad they had availability last minute but not the size of facility I thought it was going to be. More of a kennel. Didn’t seem like there was much room at all for our pet to roam or play.

I loved this place and the people that work there and more importantly my dog loved it there. The boarder I was going to use just stopped responding the day I was supposed to drop him off and last minute these amazing people took him last minute. I will use them again and would recommend them everyone.

Dog Lovers Boarding is the BEST! I know my fur babies are receiving excellent care and attention in an impeccable environment each and every time I board them. Consistency is what sets DLB apart from all the rest. Paige O’Neill (owner) has earned her reputation honestly and is well respected in our community.

Paige and her staff are great and very accommodating. I hate leaving my dogs, but am so glad that I have found a place where I know my dogs will get love and attention while I am away. When I have previously boarded at other places, I just worried about the dogs the entire time. Dog Lovers is different. I know that they are safe and getting the best care available. I can not recommend Dog Lovers enough.

We were so anxious and nervous leaving our puppy Gracie for the first time. After receiving our video of her doing extremely well we could relax and enjoy our trip. We can’t say enough about Paige, Angie, Sarah and staff. We had an amazing experience! So dedicated, loving and caring. Dog Lovers Boarding was recommended by a friend and we are extremely grateful. Fabulous place. Paige does an amazing job with the dogs. I think she takes better care of my dogs than I do. Highly recommended and would certainly use over and over again.

I work in the salon next to Dog Lover’s and I see how Paige and her entire staff love on ALL their dogs! I go over there every day I work to visit the pups and they are all ALWAYS happy, healthy and loving being there. I actually adopted a pup that Paige rescued and he goes over to play while I am work at least once a week! HE LOVES HER! If you're looking for a place filled with people that are going to love on (ahem....spoil ????) your dog take them to Paige!

Paige runs a great business aside from simply being a wonderful person. We have boarded our dog several times with her and he could not have been happier and better taken care of. She even text us pics of him and what he was up to …

I took my fur baby to Dog Lovers Boarding after a glowing recommendation from a friend, and I have been so happy with the care she receives. Paige and her staff are wonderful! I get constant text updates and pictures when I am away. Paige is always honest with how Shelby is doing. When Shelby was homesick on her first night there and wouldn't eat, Paige took the time to hand feed her until she felt secure. She gets to know the dogs and does everything she can to make sure they are happy. Shelby is always excited to visit Paige. It is obvious that Paige loves all of the dogs in her care. I am so happy to have a place that I trust.

We travel once a month and wouldn’t think of leaving our dogs anywhere else but it dog lovers boarding. Paige is absolutely fantastic! She always sends us pictures of them and lets us know all that’s going on while they are there. She has been involved in animal rescue and does so much good for pets and animals. I wouldn’t dream of leaving our three babies anywhere else but with Paige.

Dog Lovers Boarding is an amazing place! I trust Paige and her staff fully with our three-legged baby, Nemo. We drive out of our way to bring our fur baby to Paige because of her experience with dogs and her love for them. We wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else. Unless you have actually taken your dog there, I don’t understand how someone can give a low rating by something they have heard or read. We love Paige and her staff!

NO ONE, and I mean no one else literally takes care of our Kobe except Paige. If there isn’t room for him, we post-pone our plans. I wish I could give her 10 stars. Maybe I should submit two five-star reviews then ????.

I love Dog Lovers! My son has been using this place for quite some time. The owner is amazing! Those animals are her children!! There is a story on Nextdoor that makes me very sad. I encourage everyone who is sharing this story to personally check out the facts - visit this business, speak with the owner and hear her heart.

My husband and I and our fur babies absolutely adore Paige! She is the best! We have gone to her for training with our dog aggressive female and she literally held our hand through a very trying time and saved our little family! We have boarded with her multiple times and have NEVER worried that our kiddos were in the absolute best care! She cares for each and every animal she boards. She sends updated pictures and videos so you know your kids are being loved and given attention! I would recommend her to everyone I know!

We love Paige!!!!! Paige has dedicated may years to provide love, safety, understanding and passion to animals that were unwanted, abused, neglected, and homeless (Founder of Mostly Mutts). Paige runs an outstanding facility. We refer tons of business to her. We own a large daycare, boarding, and training facility right down the road from Dog Lovers. We understand that not all pups enjoy our environment for boarding. We wanted to make sure that we were not sending clients and pups to just any run of the mill facility. We have toured her facility, and were impressed by the way the dogs are treated, and the compassion towards the pups. Paige has always been honest with us, and has offered to help us in anyway she can. It is not common to have a relationship with a direct competitor. Due to her history, passion and hard work, she is a valuable person to know in the animal world. We strive to be in a community of like minded people who love all animals. Previous negative posts are in NO relation to who Paige is. These people are not even clients of hers, and have decided to participate in a very negative unnecessary need for drama. Spreading of this type of information that is lacking facts, and understanding is super sad. Paige and her staff have an exceptional amount of care and love for every dog in their care. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs. I cannot recommend this place enough and I’ve been using her for years.

I have boarded my dog with Paige for over 5 years (my dog is 6 years old) I will not take him anywhere else. She has taken such good care of him and he is SO excited every time we walk in the door. I never EVER have to worry about him when he’s in her care and that makes going out of town so much easier, knowing he’s loved and cared for. Paige constantly goes above and beyond for her clients and their pets and also spends a lot of her time helping other dogs find great homes as well. I know she personally helped me through some trying times with my pup. She even attended a training session with me, AND found me a reputable vet when mine wasn’t available in an emergency situation, and met me there to meet with the doctor herself and see my dog before his surgery. Paige and her staff at Dog Lovers Boarding are excellent with the dogs in their care. Every day she sends us pictures of our dog playing with friends, getting walkies, and overall having a good time. When our dog had a hard time eating and drinking, Paige figured out exactly what he wanted. When our dog had surgery, she followed every instruction exactly and he made a perfect recovery. She knows what our dog wants on a personal level and he is always excited to return to DLB. We never have to worry while our dog is at DLB because I know he is in good hands that have decades of experience.

My husband and I have boarded our girl with Paige for years now. She and her staff take wonderful care of her while she is there. Paige sends me daily updates with pictures, has hand fed my girl on multiple occasions (since she refuses to eat while we are gone), and makes sure she gets extra love since she can't play well with other dogs. I highly recommend Paige and her staff.

EXCEPTIONAL animal care is the best way to describe this facility. Paige and her staff go way above and beyond in the care they give your pets. She has no equal in this area. We recently went out of the country for vacation and there was no one else we would have trusted to care for our two older dogs. She sent daily pictures and updates. I have picky eaters and she went to great lengths to ensure they ate. She loved on them and gave them so much personal attention. They were so well cared for. Paige and her team are going unbelievably reliable and professional. We have our two large dogs there a few weeks out of the year and have had nothing but great experiences. Don’t rely on reviews that have never boarded a dog there.
